Sonko needs games to get match fit as do the rest who have been injured; Long and Bobby, or, not playing; Lita and Bikey.

Fairly simple really!

Interesting to see Paul Rodgers in the Arsenal side. A Free transfer presumably ? Sad to see him keeping Bad Company these days...

We won 1-0 (Lita)

Convey played 90 mins and sounds like him and Henry did enough to confirm their places on Saturday.

Heard he had a pretty bad injury recently, but he's Alright Now. Loads of Gooners were Wishing (him) Well...

Starting eleven played whole 90mins.

I suppose a good run out for first teamers, but overall a dissappointing performance against very young Gooners.

Long was poor - not making runs & space for himself (for an international!), easily handled by centrebacks, finishing awful,
Leroy scored good goal - probably best player on the park but knew it & very moody, probs thought he shouldn't be there!
Bobby ok - some good touches, but did not shine & dominate as I thought he would.
Sonks generally solid - young gooners did carve us open with some quick moves that they couldn't finish.
Andre in midfield a bull in a china shop - put himself about, got booked, left chasing shadows at times with slick passing.

A good evening though seeing as it were free - RFC take note! :)

If you think we should adopt the Arsenal pricing policy I suspect you are in for a nasty shock !!

At the Rec they are - the Chelsea game at the Mad Stad isn't.

But it is for Young Royals !
I thought mentioning that ours are free for most people was a bit obvious... I can;t recall how much an Arsenal ST is, but even if you add £3 on to ours I suspect we'll still end up with the cheaper deal. Mind you I'd probably think their tickets a bargain if I could wtach the sort of stuff they played last night on a regular basis....

£1200 at Arsenal in the top tier behind the goal. Though that does include all Cup games and Champions League ties at home. So by my reckoning, that's about 30 games a season at £40 a go.

I must admit I'd be tempted by a season of that. Looks like Arsenal may be able to deliver the promise in the next season or so. They look so much better than United, Chelsea or Liverpool.

Arsenal reserves are free to anyone, not just ST holders and no voucher nonsense!
