Woodcote Royal Didn't go to Blackburn 'cause it hasn't got an airport :P

Having had an AST since they started, it's the poxy M6 and, to a lesser degree, trains (don't get me started on the coaches  ) that have started to get to me rather than the football..................as a fan, I think I'm entitled to 2 hours a week watching my team however they might be playing :?

Anything beyond Manchester is a very long day (or overnighter) unless a plane is involved and, at £70 return for Citeh, it's doesn't really cost a lot more.............................I might even risk Easy Jet to get to Merseyside............

I thought you went to Exeter instead of Blackburn tho? Drive up was fine on the M6, diversion through Walsall in case of probs, barely 3 hours to get there plus a stop.

Royal Lady Woodcote reminds me of that Harry Enfield character who always used to say "I am considerably richer than you" but in a brum accent.

:P

Sorry if being able to afford a £70 return flight makes me rich in your eyes, June............................is hubby in the wrong business or just not very good at it :?

Not at all rich in my eyes, Timothy - just sounded like a bit of a boast to me, when there are many hundreds of fans who can barely afford a ticket these days, let alone flying up to away games!

At least I haven't been busting every sinew in a sad attempt to justify not extending our stadium so that more of the less well off might able to afford the odd ticket for a home game :?

Sorry for "boasting" about spending £70 should everyone in future only mention any expenditure below 50 quid?

I've stopped going to away games this year mostly because they all seem to be at least £5 more expensive. Last year I suffered the extra cost, this year I just think why bother.

Having said that I'll be at Fulham, last year it was a top away day.
