Flyingkiwi Had my photo in the EP being presented with a certificate by Maurice Evans on the pitch at Elm Park before a game Vs Mansfield Town in about 1980 because the six-a-side team I was captain of came divisional runners up.

One of the player in that team then went on to play for the reserve squad.

I like to think it was my influence. 8)

I had my photo in the paper when Maurice Evans presented me with a certificate for winning our 5-a-side league. My team pissed all over the team with the future Reading reserve.

robb the royal on the way back from the wigan play-off game (a few seasons ago now!)
we stopped off at a service station and in walked john Madejski (who got a massive round of applause from all the reading fans in the service station)
I promptly went for a wee next to him :D
couldn't you have just gone to to the gents like anyone else?

I shook hands with Steve Coppell last night, he even spoke to me, I was like a star-struck schoolkid. Not going to wash my hand... ever.

MadStadLad When RFC came to Sweden for their preseason a year back, we parked up our campervan, watched the game and made ourselves some hot dogs at half time. Whilst loitering around the team bench I heard Wally Downes comment on the size of the hot dog my daughter was eating as she passed by. I quickly offered to go and make him one which he accepted and asked if I would make Steve one too. I legged it off to the campervan and will never forget holding the sausage and the roll in one hand and trying to control the squirt of the tomato ketchup from a shaking hand in the other...I was actually making Steve Coppell a hot dog!!! As it was Wally ate them both and Steve never got a look in!

Get in! My favorite one so far!

hiro My wife was very first to wear new black and grey away shirts as a spectator in Royals game.
It was a match against River Plate in Peace Cup.

Nice one Hiro! Were you sporting the throwback Kitson shirt?

We bought our previous house in Emmer Green from Paul Brayson. Linvoy Primus must have lived with him at some point as we used to get post for him as well as Paul Brayson. He'd already move on from RFC when we viewed the house, but there was some old Newcastle FC annuals in the spare room LOL.

Like others, I've done the Fans Verdict in the Post, away to Crewe in about 1996.

I also managed to sneak a screwdriver into one of the last few games at Elm Park and unscrewed the sign in the ladies loo - I missed a Carl Asaba goal whilst unscrewing it!

T.R.O.L.I. On the "Record Breaking Royals" video from 94/95.
On Meridian news before the first ever game at the Mad Stad.
On South Today moments after promotion v Brentford.
On Page 3 of the EP (and also in the Chronic) for the Blackburn game.
Had a piss next to Pardew at some service station on the M6 on the way back from Bury (and no, I didn't look )

And various other media related snippets.

YAY!

Various TV appearances
Shaka bought me and my friends a round in the B&C in 1995 - he was with Gilkes
D8ed Stewart Henderson's daughter
Randomly met Steve Hetzke in a pub in Stockport
Mike Kearney's daughter organised my wedding reception
Stood next to James Lambert in the bogs at the AD (nothing special by the way)

Was sat there looking gormless on the screen and this feed was televised. People at work questioned if i had a legit day off.
Blackburn away - daughter given Murts shirt after he rolled up up and handed it to her.
I gave Marcus a cheeky nod as to where my daughter would be sitting in the southstand and fair play to the man - after the game he sought her out and handed it over.
Occasional photos on the OS at away games. The sparcity of the crowd helped.
Embarassed Shane when he came oiff the TB as i told him his mum had said he was a very naughty boy. Much hilarity from the team.
Told Lita off when he sucked his teeth at my daughter just because she had the audacity to ask for his autograph.

Survived Handbags death fart at Preston away.

Claims to fame inded!!!!

I wondered if he was Brendan Rogers. He was a "vacant" manager.
