Don Finch Both Sonko and Marcus were at fault for that incident - it was an easy ball for Marcus to come and collect, which he should have done but he was too fcuking slow off his line all day. When Sonko didn't get the call he should have put his head through the ball, you CANNOT let a ball pass you in the box like that!! Fcking basic.

Gunner, Sonko, Marcus, Convey, Doyle and Shorey were all well off the pace today, that's too many players. It's become more apparant that we played above ourselves last season and it's games like today where we're reminded that we're a Championship side - the same players would have lined up together in a game two years ago. Pretty impressive that we're still fighting in the Premiership really with the complete lack of new signings (less our most influential player) but we're going to have to invest in some quality (in centre of midfield espec) very soon if we're going to compete at a level we [the fans] are starting to expect.

No, we didn't lose, but the game was dismal - roll on Liverpool?

Cannae disagree with that Don. 8)

Nah pretty much all game, he doesn't read the game and see when a ball could be played into his area - instead he reacts once the ball is coming near him and slowly at that. Marcus wasn't the problem today though, with a functioning midfield and centre back pairing he wouldn't have been needed against that shower of shite [Boro].

Can't really disagree.

Hahnemann is sluggish and reactive. He waits for decisions to be made for him.

However, he's still the best 'keeper we have, so give him a break.

Definitely, no way I'd start with anyone else, he made some good stops today and I like the bloke, think he's reached the end of the line though and we really need to bring some competition in for him.

Sadly, you speak the truth, Don Finch.

The only positive I can find is that if we had won today, Southgate might have been fired. But with the draw, he might stick around a while longer...

Thought that was one of marcus's better games for a while, can't quite understand the vitriol today, most of the rest of the team were awful while marcus was merely average

Sonks......... utterly terrible

Midfield.......... Bikey and Fae next week please

Not controversial at all. What will be controversial is where you want him to start.

The current first team are legends for bringing us into this league but could turn from hero to zero for taking us back down again

I was worried you'd say that.

I have to say that I'd like to see Bikey ahead of Boris in midfield. To drop Sonko when he's been out for 9months would be disasterous. No one can disagree that he had a shocker today, but he's our 'best' centre half, just lacking match sharpness and confidence.

The altercation with Hahnemann and the strips torn off him by Wally Downes (in the dressing room away from prying eyes) will no doubt sort him out. He's a tough guy and will have Fernando Torres in his pocket next weekend ( :D   - you decide).

RZR

hopefully you will be spot on

however Sonk's WAS our BEST centre half 9 months ago

that was 9 months ago

to date he has been a liability

...............but then, again he was a liability three or four seasons ago.

Some on here demand instant success (I don't).........

After watching MOTD, its plainly obvious that Sonko heard a call.

Unfortunately it was someone shouting "Jacks"

im afraid i cannot see the point in putting bikey in midfield when we have 2 promising young actual central midfielders, fae and cisse, waiting in the wings........bikey looked lost yesterday when he came on at cm

After comments on the radio from Kitson, about SSC half time rollocking, the players appear to have won and then lost a vital victory in the second half.

It is a team game, the team did not produce, including No 13!!

Last season every game was treated like a cup final, this season, there is so much pressure that the team is choking itself.

On our current form we will get relegated. But it is in the hands of all those that hold this club dear to their hearts to stand up and pull together.

There is no milage in blaming individuals, constructive critisism is healthy.

The team got a rating of 3/10 IMHO, that is everyone on the pitch, sideline and stands.
