Slinky makes it look like a pikey sunday league team shirt, sponsored by courage

We were considering getting these for our Sunday night 7-a-side team.

The OS A Simod-style retro home shirt is now available...

LOL @ no badge.

There wasn't a badge on it pre-Simod Cup season.

But thats the 87-89 shirt, so it should have a badge on it.

The only difference between the 84-87 shirt and the 87-89 shirt is the badge. Therefore that shirt is the 84-87 shirt.

Wrong!

The 84-86 kit had a blue v-neck while the white with gold and black stripes formed part of the collar. Between 86-89, the collar became the v-neck. If you want to be really pedantic, the 'COURAGE' typeface changed during the 86/87 season and the badge was introduced at the start of the 87/88 season.

Have told the other half to get it for my birthday, far better than that carbuncle they are currently wearing...

just dug out a video tape of the match, extended highlights a TVS special with interviews, Fern Britten was a hotty in her day!
And some interviews out and about in Reading after the game, a more backward bunch of inbreds to talk to they couldn't have found if they tried.
Happy days.

Always brings back happy memories for me. This was the week before I got married and my best man was a Hatters fan!

I got divorced years ago, but still love the Royals!

It was nice to hear a word about Roger Smee on the commentary, one of the saviours of the Royals!
