RFC vs QPR, Nov 96. LH stood in the middle of the pitch at half time trying to whip a disinterested crowd into a frenzy of manufactured chants.

Lenny Henry: "Now if you'll sing along to [stupid faux-posh football 'song' as published in the programme] after 5-4-3-2-1...."

I had completely forgotten about that! My Aunt and I were in hysterics at what was happening then...personally that was the first time I'd been to football without my Uncle who introduced me to RFC in the late 80's. Cracking day...!!

The nearest we have to a proper celeb fan is Kate Winslet

After that its

Michael Parkinson (OK he's actually a Barnsley supporter but he supposedly holds an ST and at least shows an interest in his local side)
Chris Tarrant (maybe a bit of a glory hunter but at least it is his home town team)

But the press will say its Uri Geller or Ricky "whats football" Gervais

Cilla comes along to a fair few games it seems and JM knows a few people so David Frost and Andrew Lloyd Webber, amongst others, have been espied from time to time.
