I really think we will surprise a few people, no-one gives us a chance but I recken we will sneak a 1-1 draw with a Doyle goal being cancelled out midway through the 2nd half by a Gerrard penalty

You've got to admire such optimism in the face of overwhelming common-sense to the contrary.

With the form Liverpool are on at the moment we'll probably be on the receiving end of a relentless onslaught and get thumped by at least 3 goals difference. That's infinitely more likely than us battling to a draw. Liverpool's midfield will more than likely walk all over our own completely disfunctional, poorly positioned, non-tackling, non-creative midfield. Kitson and Doyle will be left hopelessly isolated, Sonks, Ingi, Shorey and Murty will be left hopelessly exposed as the midfield completely fail to track the runners through the middle, and they'll also be done for by the movement of Kuyt/Torres and the height of Crouch, and afterwards all the guys and gals on here will say afterwards "well it was Liverpool"...

I expect to be well and truly murked and slated if we get something out of this game, but I can't see it, even if Liverpool have Marseille and Man Utd in the next two games.

LOL @ predicting a home win.

Gunnarsson will be 'bossing' the home midfield, incase anyone has forgotten.

3-0 away win and roll on January so we can spend the 1.5 millon Madejski has saved up for player purchases

Zammo As David Coverdale once sung......"here we go again".....!

We have been so sh*t over the past few weeks, that it would not surprise me if we raised our game and went and won this.

Reading (1) 2

Hunt 36, Kitson 74

Liverpool (0) 1

Ponytail bloke 87

Which is more likely:

1. Reading to beat Liverpool

or

2. Hatton to beat Mayweather Jr.

?

In a game we are likely to lose, I'd rather Fae got a chance. Or Cissé for that matter.

Head to Head
25-09-2007 Reading 2-4 Liverpool
07-04-2007 Reading 1-2 Liverpool
04-11-2006 Liverpool 2-0 Reading
25-10-2006 Liverpool 4-3 Reading

Thats 18 goals in 4 games, an average of 4.5 goals per game.

0-0 then.
