It surprised me how many people were calling Kits MOTM listening to BBCRB on the way back; by his standards I thought he was quite anonymous...

maybe that'd be the same pillocks who were still slating Bryn and Marcus even after today......why oh why do they read out the same dross from these same gnomes each week?.........

However, Kits was one of the eleven MOTM's

Kits had a decent game but did too many flicking passes that didn't work. He's at his best when he keeps it simple and links play.

But James Harper my lord, James Harper, has to be MOTM.

Miss RZR fancies Bob, so I wouldn't let her influence my vote.

Excellent team performance today. Plenty of running and harrying - well done Gunnar on a much-improved performance.

My MOTM today, however, goes to Ivar. He did everything he needed to do with the minimum of fuss and if he did make a mistake - two I saw today - he recovered brilliantly and sorted it out.

Great to see him back to form.

Royalee Convey for me. LOL @ p
eople calling him a lightweight and not the player he was.

I dont often agree with you but on this I do. Convey is a class act and can delivery a great pass and cross...he just needed a bit of time. He is back on the left side now and may well feel like a new signing for us as he gets back to his best..brilliant passes to Gunnar and Harper

I actually thought Sonks was our worst player today.

Everyone played well though. Vote went to Harper for the goal and his midfield play. Doyle looked much improved, as did Shorey, Hunt, Gunnarsson and Bobby.

What we need is that drive and determination, with that we'll pick up more and more points, go back to the old tentative nervous approach and we're still in the mire.

Difficult to single one player out but for me Ingimarsson was outstanding at the back. Liverpool got nothing out of him all game. His best performance of the season so far.

Ironically I didn't think Kitson played as well as he has been today. MOTM could easily go to Hunt, Gunnarsson, Murts or Convey however.

Convey! Seems to be getting comfortable on the right.

Yes - Ingimarsson was outstanding - Torres is a fantastic player and he coped with him very well.

I thought Kitson (and Doyler) defended from the front superbly. But generally a really good team performance

Hunt gave another unsung-hero type of performance but Harper's goal was exquisitely taken so I'll give it to him.

Mind you, if Bikey had played for 90 minutes the way he did for the 15 mins he was on the pitch he'd have had it by the proverbial-HNA-MOTM-thread country mile.

Ingi was great and so gets my motm. He's been back to form since the Citeh game imho. Should Bikey start with him in the next game?

I would like to see that. But SSC won't change a thing for the next match. But I would like to see a three-man rotation with Bikey-Ingi-Sonko all starting two out of three games.

May well have been Gunnarsson, but he blew it with the awful offside trap attempt.

Harper for me for the goal.

true,

thats a useful tactic, but wen the other team have clearly sussed you're about to do it and are teasing you with when the ball will be played, you'd have to be an idiot to still try and use it.

Maybe Gunnar was the only one who wasn't an idiot?

Will the mug who said on here, only yesterday, that Convey couldn't kick the ball hard like to hold his hands up?

He did a lot of good work off the ball and deep. Didn't get much going forwards, so MotM? Unlikely.

Convery or Bryn, I think, for me.

Found him!

Londinium said:

He is also very lightweight with the weakest shot I have ever seen of a top flight player

A running shot without controlling the ball first, with the ball running across him and a sizzler which would have caused a 20,000 mass orgasm if it hadn't just gone over.
