Give it a rest, you've already been proved wrong as Arsenal again bottle it up north when it gets a bit coLOLd. 5 points dropped in 2 games against 2 poor teams. Best team in the worLOLd. I like the way Arsenal play but as soon as they win a few games you get the media and all their fans coming out of the woodwork talking about being the best team in the world.

As for Liverpool, they were 5 points clear of United after 3 games, they're now 6 behind. Pressue all on Liverpool next Sunday, they have to win. If they fail to win they'll have played Arsenal, Chelsea and United at Anfield and not won a single game. You wouldn't expect them to get much away at those clubs either, so it's huge game for Liverpool who face a United side that have won 4 and drawn 1 of their last 5 league trips to AnfieLOLd.

I'd call dropping 5 points in 2 games you'd expect to win choking especially after they did the hard work and won at Villa. They had a decent lead over United but have thrown that away now and they still have 4 very hard games to come in the next few weeks.

I'd like see how many teams win at Pompey and City this season. United had a difficult start but it shows how well they've recovered that they're only 1 behind Arsenal despite taking 2 points from the first 3 games. Ferguson will be delighted especially as they've also been without key players for much of the season. Scholes coming back in January will make the difference.

Didn't Man Utd bottle it up North when it was a bit warm(Reading and City)?
I am hoping for a heatwave this Sunday.

BTW if ever a team and manager had confused objectives it was Liverpool and Benitez on Saturday.
Apart from the Carling Cup which Man Utd can't get this season now what do you think Fergie's main objectives are or will he have a real go at all three remaining competitions?

Still plenty of games left but it looks like Liverpool are almost out of it. They'd need to win 20 of their remaining games to stand a chance and hope Arsenal or United throw it away. You can't afford to play all your rivals at home and only get 2 points and with away games to come at Chelsea, United and Arsenal things look bleak. Cue cmonurz coming out with the same rubbish as always....

Chelsea are hanging on but the loss of Drogba and Terry will be costly over the next 6 weeks or so. Grant has done well but defeats at United and Arsenal show he's not in the same class as Mourinho.

United have taken 4 points from Arsenal and Liverpool away and look in great shape. The loss of Scholes would have been a disaster last season however Anderson has done a superb job and looks one hell of a player.

Arsenal still top just. Big win against Chelsea on Sunday and they have everyone fit which is what they need. If they miss Fabregas they aren't the same team whereas United have shown they can cope without Scholes.

The next 3 games will be important. If United pick up 9 points from Everton H, Sunderland A and West Ham A they'll more than likely be top. Arsenal have Spurs H, Everton A and Portsmouth A. If Arsenal let United get ahead I don't think they'll catch them.
