SpaceCruiser You talk bollocks yet again.

At the risk of highlighting your stunning lack of intelligence once again, (honestly, I really really get no pleasure from it) could I ask you to be a little more constructive and enlighten us as to what you specifically disagree with in my last post.

Intelligence and working for the Met Office are quite contradictory IMHO

Lita may well be our best forward assett, but unfortunately SC has little time for antics such as shown by Leroy, hence he should move on in Jan, you only have to look at his goals at Bristol C t realise that we are not willing to play his stle of game, SC plays to percentages, free kicks and corners are more productive than open play, Leroy is a open play sort of player, no place for hin at RFC unless SC changes the system.

Come on you guys don't you have anything else to argue about? If he was scoring it wouldn't matter what he was doing off the pitch. If we get rid and buy another striker I won't be crying into my beer. Lita will obviously score against us if we sell him mind...

Woodcote Royal Frankly, even if he was scoring 2 hat-tricks a month this club doesn't need little w@nkers who think it's big to film and publish their sex life, leave alone getting involved in late-night fights and getting thrown out of night clubs as they tell everyone just how famous they are

I vote that Lita stays in January. Not on the basis of his frankly appaling performances on the pitch this season you understand, more so because we can surely expect more of the same very entertaining fevered, foaming-mouthed frenzy from the self-righteous paragons of virtue on this board if he does remain at Reading 8)

God help us if corners are more productive than open play! I've forgotten which organisation did the research but they showed that for all teams corners are extremely unproductive in terms of ratio of goals scored to corners awarded. They said this made a mockery of the way fans celebrated whenever a corner was awarded to their team. IIRC we along with ManU had one of the higher conversion rates but it was still very poor.

Once we get two decent wingers playing week in week out as we did when Convey and Little were fit and at the top of their game, we will start to see where the goals are really created and that will be from SC's real preferred system of good wing play.

brendywendy oh feck off you bunch of gheyers

feck off with your condecending naivety comments
and feck off with your shite opinions, the lot of ya

Exactly...

royal rother Jumping to conclusions about attitude when none of us know the bloke is of course rather dangerous but it was the incident (and subsequent reaction to it) in the U21 Euro tournament that really concerned me.

That'll be the U21 tournament when the FA wrote to the club applauding Lita's attitude on and off the pitch.

Woodcote Royal Frankly, even if he was scoring 2 hat-tricks a month this club doesn't need little w@nkers who think it's big to film and publish their sex life, leave alone getting involved in late-night fights and getting thrown out of night clubs as they tell everyone just how famous they are

Please see Brendywendy's comments. You sir are an embarassment and probably want people who swear to be thrown out of the ground.

gus.... for example, if I was manager and was offered Ronaldo on a free and peanuts wages coz he was in love with a Reading bird I'd turn him down

That is, quite remarkably, the most astonishingly ridiculous thing you have ever said on here. And that is quite an achievment. I suppose you feel the same about George Best, or Eric Cantona.. I mean come on.. Cantona assualted a fan in the ground. I'm surprised he wasn't burnt at the stake for being a witch..

Ian Royal Finally anyone who is willing to shag that minger Charlie from big brother as he reportedly has,* doesn't have the intelligence to make it in our squad of footballs intellectual giants and shows a lack of judgement.

Although I disagree with the rest of your post, you have a very valid point there.

We've been doing well from set pieces whilst we were shit, but the last two seasons we certainly weren't a set piece team. Attacking wingers and fullbacks along with some of the best counter attacking football in the country seggets to me plenty open play style to our game.

So why did Lita made the bench in a televised match against Liverpool?

Shop window?

If he's going to go, let's get as much money as possible. He'll start in the FA Cup in January, and a hat trick would be useful to help drive up his value.

I'll still be here next season, which is more than can be said for Lita, not to mention many of those whose persistant foul language has proved too much of an embarrassment for the club.

PS. Feel free to place these observations where the sun don't shine.

So that we could have 2 strikers on the bench in case we needed to change the top line.

I found it quite interesting that Lita made it back to the bench but not at the expense of Long.

Gus the teenage cow I like Lita, he has all the attributes to be a really great player and I would give him one

I hear he also likes to do silly things like burning £50 notes in front of his mates. Not a reason to get rid - but more proof that he is a tw@t....

Shop window for Lita definitely!

Everyone knows Lita's alawys been a big fan of the The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu and only burns cash in a post-modern ironic way as an artistic statement against the materialism in society.

You're just a oxf*rd arrogant oxf*rd who thinks his word is important. I can't believe you brought up Lita's celebrations. They are just that, celebrations. Trying to read the attitude in a celebration is frankly pathetic. Also, considering that he received a few text messages from some morons slating him for missing a penalty, I'd think he was pretty much entitled to celebrate a bit. You really need to grow up.

I hope that's not true................

If it is then we should unload him as quickly as possible. I have no time for that sort of behavior.

He needs a reality check.

............ and I don't care how good a finisher he is either.

His off the field attitude does not matter if he’s doing the business is on it. From Jan - Aug Leroy had improved loads working hard for the team, scoring goals; he has proven he is capable at this level. Imo who cares if he has got a slightly bad attitude off the field if he does the business on it. The form of DK and KD has restricted him from having a run in the team so I think he has been unlucky this season. From the outside he doesn’t seem to be causing any unrest, which is the main thing. Also the success (or lack of) of are new signings has shows how difficult it is for us to attract ‘prem level’ players. Imo we would struggle to replace him.

Maybe his form has played a part in it as well?

If he continues his barren spell, then I'd look at shipping out.

If he starts scoring then I'm happy.

The off-the-field antics would be irrelevent if he had 5 goals under his belt this season.

It think his off field attitude does matter. It probably affects his team mates attitude to him and I don't want prats like him at my club.( Robin Friday is an exception. )

Of course his off field antics and his attitude will play a part in Coppell's decision to keep him or offload him.

A big part of being successful is keeping a unified squad and making sure everyone is working together. Players can dislike each other but they have to be pulling together. If Lita isn't doing that or is a 'disruptive' element in the squad then he's more likely to kept out of the team and more likely to be shown the door.

His off field behaviour is just part of that attitude and it will have an influence on his future at the club.
