As shit as sunderland were today - they weren't worse than Derby 'No shots' County.

Especially considering at the time of playing Derby, Reading had just lost 7 at Pompey, and in this case v Sunderland, Reading are on the back of 2 good results.

dopey sunderland woman - sunderland played really well - er when? sorry luv watching a different game - sunderland got what they deserved f all - 2nd worst side we've played this season by far - only derby were worse

no way...derby only got into our half three or four times....sunderland managed about twice that

i think sunderland had the worst defence i have ever seen and the smallest - were they 6 year olds

some knob reckons coppell would be ranting and raving if the tables had been turned - what a knob - doesnt know coppell at all

after watching MOTD - i still think it was over the line - shearer is right though at the normal speed how could the lino give it...it happened so fast and i doubt if he had clear sight

lol at the loud 3000 supporters - couldnt hear them most of the game at the other end of the ground and as for 3000 - there were a few 00's of empty seats in an area that holds 2100 ya dumb woman ...they brought 1500 tops!

Maybe we were just crapper against Derby so made them look better.

Anyone got any other straws I can clutch at?

The Derby game was 2 AWFUL sides competing. Reading deserved to win, Derby deserve to get relegated to the Conference North on their showing.

Go to Sunderland, they've got a whole fcuking container full of straws to clutch at by the soudn of it!

Just listening to 606 on the podcast - if the two Sunderland callers think that it's a "conspiracy" against Keane, well that's good. He should be kicked out of football, something he knows all about.

I look forward to the reports of altercations between him and "Muppet" Quinn as they book their return to the Championship.

Actually known quite a few Sunderland fans and all were pretty good humoured and freindly.
I think you will find any real fan a bit off when his/her team has lost.

i thought thats where the dumb birds argument lost all integrity - the reading fan was spot on tho - even if he was a plastic in the south stand

Yeah, particularly the Mackem who nearly took my Dad's head off outside McDonalds for daring to wear an RFC beanie in Reading.

Thankfully he didn't connect properly and when he went back to have another go saw sense before he twatted a guy twice his age and half his size.

Usual sour grapes from fervent fans who see no wrong in their own.

What was the booking count again; Reading 0 Sunderland 4 - or perhaps that's what they felt Sunderland should have won by as they were just so good.

Considering they've spent well over 30 million since promotion, they were utter cr*p!

We weren't much better, although with a bit more composure in the box should have been about 2.0 up at half time.

Overall, a scrappy game between 2 teams fighting off relegation, just like the Boro game, although we had a bit of luck with this one.

Looked like a goal on MOTD in normal time but when slowed down and anal-ised by Shearer it "probably" wasn't completely over the line. Hey, you win some, you lose some. Nice to have a bit of luck for once.

I've lost a bit of respect for Keane for his whinge, but then he has to whinge as he'll probably lose his job if they go down as it'll be nearly 40 million quid down the drain......

We are not, and will not get into a relegation fight.

Look at the table.

............ and it will look fine before the Portsmouth game too.

Now now lads, apart from the normal few morons most of the fans on that link seemed decent enough, if pissed off.

Be interesting to see how many seasons in the premiership it'll take them to equal our first seasons points tally. If you add this season to the last couple of relegation seasons I think they'll manage it.
