Sky said that Hunt gave the defender a nice nudge into Green.

It is a pity that refs haven't been instructed to send people off for stamping and arms in the face because we would now be 10 against 9

There is some real shoite being spouted on this thread.

Thats was a surefire red card for Gunnar. A really stupid challenge.

We'd have been baying for blood and a 5 game ban if an opposition player had done the same.

Please stop the pathetic attempts to defend the indefensible.

PS this doesn't exonerate Walton for the poor decision re: Hunt.

Walton has now twice let the West Ham wall stand about 6 yards in front of our freekicks!

Watch it again - studs down, feet barely off the ground, going for the ball and nowhere near the player - serious foul play? Think not. As I said before, the crowd were hardly baying for blood and many seemed as surprised as us with the red.

As for defending the indefensible - Green's conduct?

Avon Royal
Bristol Paul Refs guidelines this season are that a 2 footed tackle is a straight red card

Only if it's dangerous........

Absolutely correct.
Walton has obviously judged that the challenge constituted 'serious foul play'.

Not the violent conduct that has been posted on the Match live console.
Idiots!

The standout players for WH are Parker and Walton for sure. Without them they'd look Championship... Actually I think Walton WILL be Championship soon.

Parker steps on Sonko and rips his shoe off. No foul!

Ingi knocked sideways by an Ashton shot.
Looks punch drunk. Kinda like he did after his goal against man city last year

Good tackle to nick the ball from the edge of the penalty box. Doing ok.
