yappy Coppell's take on Convey: ...He feels any twinge is the old injury rather than any normal ache or pain.

In other words Convey is flinching out of tackles, doesn't want to get stuck in, and Coppell thinks he has turned into a coward after the injury and maybe that is why he jumps away from tackles rather than into them.
He should sort his head out now.

At least he's not a coward hiding behind the anonymity of an internet chatroom or as a memeber of a crowd like we are all guilty of on here.

Its not at all what Coppell said, he's in the same place as Kits was after he broke his leg. The only way confidence comes back is competitive games.

PEARCEY Why would Coppell want to switch Hunt back to the left when he has been far more effective cutting in from the right. Yes they are both left wingers but as has been proven they can both switch flanks.

He's playing on the right because neither Little or Oster are fit and, yes, he's done well whilst he and Convey have provided the much needed balance that was missing earlier in the season.

However, if we spend a few million on a right winger next month Coppell will almost certainly want him in the team and one of Hunt or Convey will be dropped..............................as things stand it's a no brainer that BC will lose out.

As shown by the recent purchases of Fae, Cisse and Halford, Coppell always wants to play his new signings straight away.

Competition and cover. Not a bad thing.

Players get injured, players lose form. It happens.

If we sign another squad player I agree that it could be different but if, hopefully, we get a quality right mid he will play unless he's in very poor form at least until Little returns.

So now you say that SC would select a fit Oster on the right ahead of playing Hunt in that position completely ignoring how well Hunt has been playing in that position.. You infer SC would then switch Hunt to the left where he has been less effective and drop Convey. Utter bollocks...
