T.R.O.L.I. If true, it smacks of him trying to deflect from the ineptitude of his performances this season.
Did you choose one of those words very carefully?

I just hope that the pressure doesn't cause him to crack.

If it does his career could go to pot.

I firmly believe we have a better team than Reading did last season. To be signed by Roy Keane is a massive compliment. He was the main reason why I came and signed for Sunderland."

if that is true why are they doing so shit?

It's simply proof that Halford lacks intelligence and judgement amongst other things. Another reason that he didn't fit with SC's way.

As I posted elsewhere, I'd heard from someone quite reliable that he'd been told not to train with the first team for at least one session.

Most drugs + footballer stories simply don't surface. I'm not quite sure why. Good lawyers? Paying off people for the story?

Fear of being sued for libel when the story turns out to be untrue!

That's probably why the moderators have removed threads on the skysports forum.

Slightly surprised certain references still remain on this thread, as I don't believe 'I was merely repeating a rumour I heard' counts as a valid defence to libel! Equally, the use of 'allegedly' is not the panacea many think either.

More to do with the potential loss of value for the asset being greater than the cost of press silence...

I guess its if there's any doubt so/as its more a case if the story turns out to be hard to prove as 100 % true.

West Stand Flash I have a feeling he was a bit of a one season wonder.

Which season was that then?

Correct. Halford thought he was Blly Big-Bollocks and deserved an instant starting place in the team because he was our record signing.

SC and the coaches disagreed.

Any transfer should be watched with interest, surely we put a sell on fee inserted into the transfer?
