Yep I think so.

Barry the bird boggler Any money this is a Zamora/Fowler transfer

Am I on the right planet ? what does either of them actually mean please.

It means that I saw Zamora in the Madejski car-park this morning having a good ol' chinwag with Robbie Fowler in a manner that suggested that they have both agreed terms to form a new strike partnership at Reading. I also saw a disgruntled Nicky Shorey hopping into his car, clutching a test tube filled with a substance that looked suspiciously like urine, and accompanied by a man who looked an awful lot like Sir Trevor Brooking.

Really ?

 I really hope you're joking!

There is no chance Robbie Fowler is coming to Reading..........he's out injured for the forseeable.
Jimmy you need to visit Specsavers mate.

I really think reading should look to bid for matty taylor. He'll certainly choose us over Bolton as apparently he is reluctant to move north!!

Let's hope Harry cashes our cheque before he leaves for Newcastle.

Thank you for those pearls of wisdom. You're insight adds so much more than those who claim to be friends with people who know him well.

He must now wait for Redknapp to bring in new faces, with the Portsmouth boss admitting this week: "Matty wants to leave.

"He wants to move and we have had a couple of clubs in for him.

"But I can't sell anyone until we get some people in.

"As soon as I get some people in who I think will improve the team I will think about selling him.

"Until then, he won't go. Whether he wants to go or not is not important to me."
Doesn't this tie up with SC comment about an first teamer they wish to sign but will not be sold until his club get cover in for him.

I thought those comments were more about a young player but he has said something along those lines.

Newcastle apparently are willing to pay for him to fly up and down the country. Are they really that desperate?

Must be something in the water in the north east.

It's possible that 'Arry thinks he's done as much as he can at Pompey and a quick 9 months or so away from home before they sack him and give him a bumper payoff must be appealing.

And with all those transfers to rebuild a squad there'll be plenty of opportunity for some 'wheeler dealing.'

I think the Geordies have had their heads turned by the 4-0 thumping Pompet gave them. I wonder if they've even looked at the results at Fratton Park!

Papers state this is the last chance saloon for Bungknapp to make it with a 'big club'. Sorry but when & what have Newcastle ever done to be classed a big club?

Thats the thing - i was saying to a mate the other day that Newcastle think they are bigger than they actually are, just because they get the support and have the stadium....its why managers haven't survived at the "toon" for long cos the supporters easily run out of patience thinking they should be a top 4 side.

cheeky flucker - you've seen Redknapps comments more or less confirming what i've told you is true yet you still take the pi55. Next time I won't bother passing on factual info but will instead humour you all with random pieces of bollox like others do continually!

PS: I'm now having to pick up my toys
