Amongst the sheep Sunderland fan I know told me that Halford had has his contract cancelled. Can't see proof of this anywhere. Reason's being non-football related.
Is that because he's a non-footballer?

Royalee Nothing on the Sunderland forums, but then again they've been closed due to 'libellous posts'.
I wonder if Keane's been on there and thrown a hissy fit.

It seems that on Tuesday, someone ignored the warning which had been stickied about libellous postings on the RTG message boards; these posts were seen by the club, who alerted us to their presence.

shadesrwrf Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the whole point of a rumour that it's unsubstantiated?

Pardsme Can't be arsed to read all the pages so apologies if already mentioned but surely the only reason why Keane keep bidding is payback for Halford. Trying to unsettle the current form player and in the vain no-hope chance in landing his man.
Keane can do one!! Hope they go down for all the money they spent in trying to stay up.

North East Royal Whatever the reason is why Halford isn't getting a game, it can't be posted on here either!
SMB, not a bad little forum but gone down hill recently. Wycombe Royal has been having some fun on there with the whole Hunt situation

RIP ELM Park Keane's just been on SSN saying he's won't negotiate on players or comment on his targets through the media as he wouldn't want other managers doing it about his players.
I wonder how the news of the 3 bids he's made from Hunt became public knowlwedge then????????? I pretty sure we didn't speak to the media.
He may have been able to play a bit but the man is a to55er of the highest order. When Sunderland go down and/or he gets the Big Sam treatment football will be all the healthier.
