1. If we hadn't dicked away the lead three times against Spurs and had hung on for a draw, we'd still be ahead of them now. Not much to write home about, but good for a laugh at Tottenham's expense.

The real reason to be cheerful is that Little Reading, a team that spent the first 135 years of its existence bumbling around the Southern League or the lower leagues - a team whose highlight was winning a cup that no-one else has ever heard of - is currently sitting 13th in the English premier League, 57% of the way through their second season in that league. We have also achieved this whilst also being the most financially secure club of the whole 92.

A few years ago that was beyond the bounds of our wildest imagination, so let's have a reality check on where we really are.

And yes, we may be playing badly, but we have 7 teams lower than us who are playing just as badly and showing no signs whatsoever of improving.

Listen to me - we will not go down this season. I am absolutely, utterly, sure of it. Out of the next 16 matches we will get the 4 wins that will keep us up.

I've been saying the same thing, most people have as well.
Some haven't, but they're mostly too narrow in their thinking, not being able to realise that there are more than a few teams worse than us.
Reading some of these 'fans' opinions makes me wonder whether they think that the Club deserves to go down...
There are a few teams which have not shown any good performances really this season and we still have the firepower which some clubs would kill for.
When we're good, we're very good and when we're bad, well we're bad.

only Derby are worse than us at the moment, Wigan have improved under Bruce, Fulham keep losing after taking the lead, but their luck must change soon, Birmingham?..won at Spurs lost narrowly at OT and got a draw at the emirates today, Boro won at Portsmouth..nuff said!!!
and if Sunderland grab a result tomorrow they will be in 18th, but only 2 points below us, after our next 2 games against utd and Chelsea we will be bottom 3..without doubt..reason to be cheerful my arse
