going to bolton apparently for 1.5 million, or so i heard on SSN

is this a missed trick? centre back. good player, played at a good level, and seemingly cheap.

last minute snatch and grab?

My friend who is a Fulham fan posted this on our message board today but I'm not sure where its originally from or how good the source is:

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson wants to snap up Celtic's giant centre half Bobo Balde in a bargain £1.5million deal this week.

Hodgson stepped in after Bolton pulled out of a move for the powerful defender, who is off to play for Guinea in the African Cup of Nations but should join Fulham this week.

Balde is the type of tough customer Fulham need as their defence puts them in trouble so often, a problem Hodgson has identified quickly.

The long-serving Parkhead star wants a pay-off from Celtic before he goes, but that is being worked on - and Fulham should have his signature within 48 hours.
