nice to see us playing with two upfront at home! interesting tactics, but looks promising.

So, against the Prem Champions we've got a midfielder at centre half, a winger in central midfield and a striker on the right wing.

No evidence that we need to strengthen at all, then.

The fact that it's also the best balance we've had for some time speaks volumes.

As well as getting something out of this game I would love:
Chelsea to do Brum
Arse to overcome Fulham
Blackburn to sort Middlesbra
Pompey to smash Derby (although this is prob irrelevant)!
Spurs to be merciless towards Sunderland and of course the Keegan factor to do the biz V Bolton.
Tomorrow Everton to beat Wigan
I would just love that!

Not a bad team. Good that Matejovsky has made the bench. Shows that Kevin Dillon meant what he said yesterday. Finally a signing who's going to be given a shot!

Better than upsetting the players!!

To be fair I think Cisse is much, much more comfortbale at centre half. Still gonna be a massive test for him, then our only other option was Pearce, who it would be even a tougher test for.

Looks a pretty good team from what we have at the moment. I'm encouraged. Must be Lita's last chance though?

I think the last time Doyle, Kitson and Lita started together was against Liverpool.

Same result today?

I'm nervous now. More so since they said on SKY Sports that Spurs were going to take it easy v Sunderland in view of the Carling Cup game v Arsenal on Tues. Keane is rested.

Could backfire because a Sunderland win would put them one point behind Spurs.
