Royal Tezza Well i for one am absolutely delighted. Even if this goes the way of the Newcastle game last week i will be able to reflect on an excellent first half
It's a reminder of what we can do, but the problem is doing it on a regular basis.

Delighted if Cisse gets a boost out of this game. He seems more like the right stuff attitude-wise than most of our recent purchases.

As PP says we had a fair bit of luck that half but, good lord, it seems we have found a little bit of self belief tucked down the back of the couch and what a difference it makes.

Whatever happens in the next 45 we can take a lot from that half.

Archie's penalty Why didn't we play like this against Arsenal?

Why don't we play like this every week?

Archie's penalty We are playing great! Cisse is doing brilliantly at centre-back. Hunt is playing well in the centre of midfield, Doyle is giving us really good options at right wing and Lita is really fighting with Vidic.

Why didn't we play like this against Arsenal? It makes me think we could easily have beaten Portsmouth if Sonko hadn't have been sent off...

we've looked like winning a copule of the games recently had it not been for pens or red cards. people have forgotten that with it being a run of straight defeats though

Just for the hell of it I'd take Convey off switch Hunt to the left and stick Mateyboy in the middle.

Ian Royal
Gordons Cumming We need 2 goals to get anything out of this game.

The big difference for me is the dynamism and pace brought into central midfield by Hunt. God we've missed it.

On this showing I'd like to see how he'd work together there with Marek.

Hmm not bad idea. Convey isn't playing well. May be a bit too much of a risk though. Matejovsky might be able to unlock their defence with a killer pass...

Really impressed by his performance. The whole midfield seems to have a really good understanding, with an excellent, fluid shape.

I can't see us changing it whilst we're holding them and probably rightly.

I'd quite like to see Marek get at least 10 mins though, preferably about 20.

Certainly worth bearing in mind before we get too carried away with 0-0 at HT!

I agree. He's got an amazing amount of energy. He's putting United under pressure all over the pitch. Lita's playing great. He's good in the air even against Vidic!

He's an excellent player. Can play left back, left wing, right wing, upfront or through the middle.

much better today, I like the side, much more pace and enthusiasm especially in the middle, only watching Gillette Soccer, so how is Hunty doing in the middle?, I would imagine he is very much the box-box player that we have been crying out for ! what will the changes be later on, will we see Marek come on possibly for Convey and staying in the right, or in the middle with hunty going to the right side ??

Would be nice to see Marek I agree. But our midfield has been fantastic so far and I wouldn't sacrifice that for anything. Marek can wait as far as I'm concerned.

To be honest, I can;t see any scenario where he would get on today, barring an injury.
