LOL at anyone giving it to Lita, he cost us the first goal and was the worst player on the park. Everyone else did themselves proud, even if Hunt had an off-day out of position, at least he put it in.

You really ought to get your eye sight tested and get arrested for those mind-bending drugs you are clearly taking. Either that or maybe you are simply a bigot!

There was some *rsehole sat in Y21 constantly slagging off Lita (then strangely quiet when Lita did well). Grey hat, greying beard and glasses. You sir, if you are reading this, are a negative tw*t and you don't know how close you came to having a very heated lecture about the importance of removing your blinkers and supporting the team on the pitch. Perhaps you are the same tw*t who texted BBCRB after the game claiming you are fed up with Lita's diving. Send an old text by mistake did you? Or do you just send the same boring stuff after every game? Just how much diving did Lita indulge in today?

Maybe if Lita had copied Ronaldo's example of falling over whenever he felt he could con the ref (at least Robocop finally woke up to that) we might have had a few deserved free-kicks when he had every right to go to ground after a defender was all over him.

Yeah I thought Lita did well today. He fought for the team and he definitely wasn't the worst player on show for us today. That would be convey who put bad crosses in every time he had a chance. Don't want to be negative today though we played great and lots of positives for the future...

Don't get a boner.

That guy wasn't me, but given that Coppell brought him off and everyone I spoke to at the game wanted him off, .

People tend to try to avoid speaking to fools so maybe your survey isn't that reliable!

Your arguments may have held some credibility at other games but not today.

I really must watch MOTD carefully so I can see how Lita was the reason ManU scored that first goal! As for staying on his feet, no other player on that pitch would have managed to stay on their feet either in those situations where Lita did end up on the ground.

Typical of the Lita bigots was the twat in the grey hat who crucified Lita after he had clearlycalled and pointed to Doyle to indicate where he he wanted the ball played (i.e. wide down the right channel). Lita sets off on run, beating the offside trap only to find that Doyle had played the ball inside to where Lita had been before he set off on the run. Of course to tw*t in the hat (and no doubt you to) that cockup had nothing at all to do with Doyle and was completely down to Lita who should have been immediately substituted.

Imagine the roar of anger that would have come from the Lita bigots had he copied Doyle's trick of the second half inslicing the ball straight out of play for a throw when under no pressure at all and when several players were making good runs into positions to attack the Utd area. Doyle looks at the pitch in way of explanation and (quite rightly) gets no stick. Lita would have been lynched.

I'm so glad the Lita bigots have found someone to replace the likes of Darren Caskey and Jim McIntyre as players who could never do right in their eyes!

I voted for a sub, which is Marek.

I did this because he sounded quite good which must mean he had the game of his life given how shit he's supposed to be because we never make good signings these days.

Exactly. He had a good game against Spurs on Tuesday and a good game today. I didn't see any diving at all today and his pace, movement and strength constantly threatened the United defence.

Unjustified criticism of a good player playing well.

MOTM Cisse, obviously

As with Tuesday I find myself in the unusual position of defending Lita today. He wasn't great but he did himself no harm whatsoever - up against probably the best defensive unit in the country he gave them a few problems and was extremely strong in possession of the ball... I suppose he might have gone to ground once or twice but don't they all?

Earlier in the season (and for much of last season) I was massively irritated by his diving antics - but I think after another bollocking from the management (as happened last season) he has as good as eliminated it from his game again. If he carries on playing like he has for much of the last 2 games I am happy for him to get a few more opportunities; a goal or 2 is not far away.

PS I would be really interested in the reason behind the vote for Convey... I guess either someone loves him, ir related to him, or pushed the wrong button by mistake. He played his part and tried hard but looked way off the pace.

Lita had a decent game today - contributed far more than Convey or Doyle did tbh.

Convey did o.k.

But with the very odd exception that's all he ever tends to do. We need to upgrade.

I wonder about Convey sometimes. I have this strange feeling that he only plays well when we're doing well. If we string a few results together before the end of teh season and get some confidence and flair back I wonder if he'd start showing the old magic.

I'd never thought of it that way. Coppell described Seol as a luxury player. Does Convey fall into a similar bracket?

I suppose questioning other people's sanity re MOTM choices is a little outrageous but come on, how on this Planet Earth can there be 4 people who thought Lita was better than Cisse today? (The Convey vote is probably some QPR supporting dipstick on a wind-up.)

I thought Leroy did alright today but yet again we didn't play to his strengths. Let's face it Convey wasn't at his best, Doyle is not a right winger and Kitson seemed to win few balls in the air against Vidic so really Leroy had no service what so ever. We all know he thrives on good service in and around the box of which he got none. Even when balls were played into the channel for him to chase the ball was still played in the air rather than on the deck, yet he continued to run for the team and even tracked back and made a few tackles.
People can knock Leroy but when he is on form he is lethal. Hopefully in the coming months with Little returning from injury and Matejovsky settling into the team we will begin to see more balls in behind defences and fewer long balls pumped up to Kitson which will bring the best out of Leroy.

I thought Lita did ok yesterday especially as in my opinion he was being marked by Rio Ferdinand who i thought was utd's stand out player, i do not think anyone could fault his application or work ethic.

I think the home support (aka #13) deserve a mention for their performance too.

The strong vocal support was picked out for a mention as the Sky cameras panned around the stadium during Match Choice.

Despite remaining seated whilst ManU fans were allowed to stand throughout (yes, once again Mr Safety Doyle!), we made a mockery of the famous ManU travelling vocal support. Even after they scored we were soon drowning them out again with' Only sing when you are winning'. Then, after they got their second, the whole of the East Stand appeared to rise (only a few to leave early and even they were applauding) to applaud our team and, as the game, drew to a close it was still Reading voices that were to be heard singing in praise of their team.
