If they haven't done so already, maybe they should let him go on some of the away trips with the team. As he is reputed to be one of the real characters/comedians in the squad, I would have thought his presence alone would be good for morale and team spirit.

'greed. One of my favourite moments from last season was Glen repeatedly bamboozling Gareth Barry when we played Villa at the Madejski.

Maybe Glen has had this injury for 10 years and he'll come back full of pace, skill and an end product, to rival Ronaldo for player of the season.

If he does make it back before the end of the season there is going to be a lot of pressure and expectation heaped on him by us lot and bearing in mind it will take him a number of games to back into the pace of things its not just going to be a matter of being in the team.

So we all ask again why didn't this club see getting a right winger in as a priority way back in August in the first place?

That and the failure to get someone seemingly with the ability of Matejovsky in in the summer are the big mistakes made this season and the reason we're not more comfortable in the league.

It's good news, there was a worry he might never play again. Hopefully this means he can get a few cameos get fit fully over the summer and have a fantastic swan song season in the prem next year. Surely he can't last much longer than that even if he can recover his fitness.

In an age of random drug testing, I think this may be unwise. I think he should stick to FA endorsed medication - a la Robbie Fowler who only used substances found on the playing surface.
