Huntley & Palmer When we tonked West Ham on New Year's Day. I was lay in bed wondering if I was going to make it through the day due to the actions from the previous day/night

Same. Except I had a ticket, but couldn't use it because I had a broken leg...followed it in the chat room.

Well I was there but I was still brain damaged from the night before so all I can remember is a vague sense of surreality and nausea.

Doyler Leicester away, I'll never get over that. I realise the result was irrelevant and we would have got promotion even if we'd lost. Even so it was still one of those occasions when those who went can look back and say 'I was there'.

I was there

Simod Cup Semi - when you plan holidays a couple of months in advance the Simod Cup Semi is not something that gets consideration. Managed to 'watch' the penalty shoot-out on Ceefax on a TV set with poor reception - 3 x as nerve-racking as being there.

Pitch invasions in real life > pitch invasions on Ceefax.

Reading 6 Barnsley 2 in 69/70 and missed Les Chappell scoring apparently one of the best goals ever at EP. I was alternatively employed as a non-playing sub for Bracknell Schoolboys. Also missed Reading 6 Barrow 3 from that season. My Mum stopped me from going because I put a sh*tload of chewing gum in my brother's hair while he was sleeping!

Anyway, managed to see Reading 8 Southport 0! :P

I lent my season ticket to a Spurs fan, Sunday November 12 2006.
What a bummer.
But every cloud has a silver lining, he was well gutted.

Agree with that, up all night before but decided to go anyway. Good decision.

Not such a good decision to go to the home match against them this season in a similar situation

Same for me, although i'd also add Leicester away as well.

A contact of my dad was able to get tickets for us in the Upper West (just behind where Coppell usually sits), the choice was either Watford or Derby and i chose Watford thinking it was a bigger game as it was against another promotion chasing side

Another one is the 6-4 at Spurs - was going to go with some Spurs supporting mates and sit in the away end for what would have been my first Premiership away game, but decided i couldn't be arsed to get a ticket thinking it would be a straightforward away defeat
