One for Tredder - I saw Hampton at Newport today (2-2, fair result). Probably the best team I've seen in nine or 10 Newport games this season and I'd be very surprised if both teams are not in the play-offs.

What did you think of Hodgey (9)

Whole team impressed - can't say I particularly noticed 9, I liked 11 (McIntosh) and 3 (Lake) and Hampton might have won if 12 (Yaku) had played from the start.

Some video here - http://www.newport-county.co.uk/ The 18-year-old ref was shocking, utterly out of his depth.

Lakey is hit and miss, Hampton look a good all round side now, Dev has done a good job and i'd be very surprised if they didn't make the play offs, Yak was away for a while because of a bereavement and the team did well when he was away, i don't rate him to be honest, some frightening pace but lacks that cutting edge finish, really looking forward to the Maiders game.

If those highlights are a true reflection of the game then the beavers done well to get a point, a big ALOL at the posh old boy being overheard during the game.

Hodgey rising like a limp lettuce

(real non league) Bristol Sunday League side "JKL" have their goalkeeper representing them in the World Cup.

Ross Jeremy has been called up by the Dominican Republic FA for their WC campaign due to a lack of goalkeepers.

Is Leo Roget still turning out for St Albans? Now there's a team that makes Reading's collapse look like a minor blip.

In related news Mr Simon Osbourn/Osbourne/Osborn has given Neil Smith a call and he's the new assistant manager (or something) at Brommers.

Ignoring that Torquay have two games in hand and have to host Aldershot on the English Riviera as well.

true. but aldershot need only improve their goal difference by plus two and torquay winning their games in hand becomes of no consequence.
