Alan Partridge  Obvious really wasn't it?!!!

Lesson Learnt. Never gamble!!

Edit. Not so it seems.

It's paid out to me £222.10 but not the £322.05 for getting York as well.

Presumably you went for all combinations of four folds rather than one 5 fold accy then?

I think what has happened, is because York didn't play on the Tuesday, they've taken it as a non runner and paid out for 5 results. So even if they'd won ti made no difference.

Quite funny as handbags_harris advised me Coral because he said they pay out for the other results if you get a postponement, which is sort of what happened.

I got lucky in all honesty.

Is it only me who thinks Egypt are ridiculously good value to beat Ivory Coast tonight at 4/1?

Edit: you can get nearer 5/1 on the exchanges.

I am on Egypt, as well as Hosny and Aboutreika to score 1st, E/W.

Certainly was, 4-1 to Egypt in injury time, Aboutreika scoring to round off a nice evening for me. 8)

It's all about The Posh today. That is my £100 Weekly NAP (1/1 so far since starting that!)

Spurs away are my NAP. around 8/15.

4/7 Everton (Ladbrokes) ain't bad if you can bring yourself to lumping on Reading to lose.

Swansea best of the rest.

Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last 4 (6 in all competitions) including games against Liverpool, Blackburn and Newcastle. Fulham have been awful away from home, but are a bit of an unknown quantity after the transfer window. Still, with Mido returning and Alves on the bench, I think 5/6 is ok on the home side.

Sunderland have no midfield - Wigan might be a cracking bet at 13/5, although Sunderland's home form is excellent (6-3-3).

Preston have won their last 3 at home, and look to be turning it around a little. Coventry have won 5 away from home, but only 1 since 6th November.

And surely Bristol City are only 4/5 because they have lost a couple of (away) games in the last month? 4/5 at home to Sheff Wed looks a decent price.

Four-fold:

Middlesbrough 5/6
Spurs 8/15
Preston 11/10
Bristol City 4/5

Well done mate-Swansea let me down for a 5-timer.
I won't mention it to my brother who NEVER backs odds-on away from home and Swansea contrived to let a 2-0 slip away.
Still,my recommendation of Swansea some weeks ago at between 5/1 and 7/1 is looking promising.

I'm going to trust Egypt again tonight - should walk it if they play to their potential, as they did in bursts against Ivory Coast.

Egypt to win in normal time at 11/8, and Hosny to score 1st (E/W) at 10/1.
