Keegan resigns

by Very near...far away » 09 Feb 2008 14:49

Losing 4-1 at Newcastle, he left the stadium in tears saying he had taken the team as far as he could.
2,000 fat Geordies were busy looking under the seats for their "King Kev" shirts and wondering how much relettering would cost.

As many goals in 40 minutes as in his previous 13 games. You told us alright.

You obviously haven't checked how many goals he has scored this season

Don't let those words come back to haunt you when he scores three on us...

1st hat-trick in seven years!!!

Anyway, who gives a flying phuck if he scores 3, we'll score 4.

Its the Ashley Young brace, Barry penalty and comedy Mellberg goal that'll really screw us.

You're right, my bad. He actually had 3 goals in his previous 12.

And he has 9 in 22 games in all competitions this season, 6 in 21 before the weekend.. ProLOLific.

Ideal John Carew scored a hat trick in 40 minutes.
I told you he was good.

That's almost up there with the old Gary Alexander comments.

I'm beginning to wonder if you have a sense humour or not. I'm leaning towards the "not" at the moment.

Is it not a tad ironic that Ideal is Carew's love child?

Nah, some of his best friends are racists so he can't be black.

It's getting closer. The poor lad just can't cut it any more - never go back to scenes of past glories (2nd Division Championship and UEFA qualification) and all that.
