USA

Rosenior Sonko Cisse Shorey

Oster Gunnar Marek Hunt

Kitson Lita

Doyle needs a rest and Lita has looked good.
Drop Harper because him and marek cannot play togeather and marek looks more likely to create a chance for the front men. Gunnar will give us a bit more steel in the middle which we desperatly need atm.
Drop Murty because we are playing against Young, Ablonglahor (sp?) which have raw pace and will skin Murty all day long.

However i fully expect to see ..
USA
Murty Sonko Cisse Shorey
Oster Harper Marek Hunt

John Oster should not be anywhere near the starting XI, let alone the subs bench

Same as yesterday except Kebe for Oster (having had a decent 2 weeks training) and Lita for Doyle who isn't offering a great deal at the moment.

I'ld rather have Doyle atm because Lita is not in form.Lita cannot score atm and needs to stop falling over every time he gets the ball.
Put Kebe in for Oster.

USA
Shorey Cisse Sonko Rosinier
Hunt Marek Harper Kebe
Doyle Kitson

Subs :

Fedders
Murty
Oster

LoyalRoyalFan Lita cannot score atm

He has played 3 games against United & Chelsea & Bolton. Had one opportunity in 3 games.
Kevin Doyle has played every game for god knows how long & is looking more a more poor every single game.
Give him a reast as he is crap @ the minute & give LL a proper chance.

What bizarre "reasoning".

-----------------Hahnemann----------------

De La Cruz-----Sonko---Cisse-----Shorey

-----------------Gunnarsson----------------

----Matejovsky---Harper----Hunt--------- (playing as a central midfield trio, not on the wings)

---------------Kitson-------Lita-------------

Subs:
Federici
Doyle
Rosenior
Convey
Long

No man marking, for god's sake. Just simply, Gunnarsson to mop up the attacks and perhaps get a hold of Agbonlahor if he's fit, whilst hopefully with a packed central midfield we can actually do something with it for once. At least with Gunnar and Hunt in the middle there'll be some fight.

Gunnar will not get anywhere near to 'getting a hold of' Agbonlahor. We do need more fight in the midfield but he's not the answer. We haven't got anyone capable of playing that role in midfield, and even though the Harper/Marek partnership isn't perfect, it's the best we've got atm.

I agree that Harper/Marek is the best CM partnership we have at the moment, but, I also think we need to add more bite to the midfield, because Harper and Marek are quite lightweight. Maybe Gunnar won't mark Agbonlahor, simply from a speed point of view, but sitting between the central defence and central midfield is where he works best.

Surely, Gunnar's job would be to get hold of the players who would supply Agbonlahor.

Shouldn't be too many changes, loyalty and consistency after all are what we strive for so why change a team that hasn't got a league point since Boxing day and hasn't got a goal for 5 Matches, he doesnt normally:-
USA
Murty..........Will be run ragged !
Sonko..........Another Pen due
Cisse..........Will play well, so expect Ingi back soon
Shorey.........I'm forever blowing bubbles
Oster.........."wonder Winger"
Matejovsky.. .Oh why did I come here ??
Harper.........i'm cool
Hunt...........oh why didnt I leave here !!
Kitson.........maybe give him a chance this game
Doyle..........Cant Score

Subs:-
Federici.........never gets the chance
Ingi..............Getting up to speed for his return
Long.............Dont score
Kebe.............maybe 15 minutes this time
Gunner..........where am I ????

Is he good enough to do that though? I liked Gunnar when we won the Championship as he could fill in and do a good job, but as a starter in the prem i don't think he's even close to cutting it unfortunately.
