Platypuss Meanwhile, Lita starts for the reserves against Villa tonight.
And, looking at the full team sheet for the stiffs makes me think that the talk of wholesale changes to the team for the Boro game was just that - talk.

Nothing's going to change. We've not got a squad strong enough to be able to change much.
Major problem with Villa running straight through our midfield - do we have any other midfielders available? NO, we don't.
Oster looked shit out there, do we have anyone else? NO, only Jimmy "Bas Savage" Kebe
Basicly we're pretty much stuck with what we've got at this point and it's not really going to change before the end of the season.
Why on earth we didn't sign anyone worthwhile in the previous transfer window I don't know, but according to some of the posters on here we are doing just fine and don't need more players..

Ideal Explain what Kebe achieved then?
Did he manage to deliver one single cross? No, not one!

Alan Partridge Our entire season is summed up by this next sentence.
'Stephen Hunt is our player of the season'

Spud I thought kitson had a complete shocker today, he looked lethargic and dis interested , lost count of times Doyle had ball and was looking foe someone and he was ambling along behind him. If Kits has given up then we are totally fecked.

I assume these players are in the reserves because the 'first teamers' played a full premiership match yesterday.
Also i guess Coppell asked for a almost full strength reserves so he can assess his options in a game against players who our players dont play against everyweek and know all their movement etc. I assume Coppell will be in the stands watching and the players will be fully aware of the comments made yesterday about changes, a big performance tonight could convince coppell to play them on sat.
Only question....where is Fae???

Villa's back 4 were just superb, doing what they had to in order to keep the ball out of their area. Doyle I thought looked fine but had no support when he found himself in loads of space several times - where was Kits?

their defensive set-up was very similar to Bolton's. Big strong centre-backs heading vitually every ball lofted in their direction (or just being first to the rebound if Kitson won one) and just sticking close enough to Hunt to make sure he couldn't get a cross in. Other than that, they didn't need to do much.PremAddictSpud I thought kitson had a complete shocker today, he looked lethargic and dis interested , lost count of times Doyle had ball and was looking foe someone and he was ambling along behind him.
