My favourite memory or Leroy would have to be the sheer ecstacy on his face just after he'd slotted one in back in September. In this day and age of over paid, pampered footballers, it was refreshing to see a guy who clearly just enjoyed the thrill of banging one in. I only wish we'd seen him shoot more in his time at the club.

6. Away at Preston in August 2005. Forget which of his two goals it was, but he ran onto a long ball from Bobby Convey and hammered it home from a really tight angle. That was the point that I realised that this team could be something special.

Disclaimer - not that I think we've seen the last of him, though.

Have you noticed how long ago all those 'special' goals were? Despite what some on here think there has been very little in his performances for the reserves to justify a recall. The four goal haul was against DERBY which puts it in perspective.

1. Overhead v Palace
2. Hat trick, in particular the 2nd goal v WBA
3. His immense double at Citeh last season.
4. His brace at PNE, quality finishing.
5. The equaliser at Chelsea. His first goal in a while, h'ed played on his own that day and was great, scored and you could tell it meant loads to him.

I was expecting the first reply to be his mug shot while feeding that bird a portion.

I decided to go for the more subtle option...

Could add his brilliant header vs United which helped set up a thrilling finish in that game, the goal against Burnley as Spacey mentions, the headed goal on debut couple with a great celebration. Didn't he flatten Ron Grant after the overhead?

Oh and of course smashing in the winner to complete the Boro comeback!

Oh and one of the best finishes i've seen, v PNE in the 2-1, put through at an angle and just fired it in low and hard, seemed to arrow into the corner past Carlo Nash.

Very good.

The Man City game for me. Brilliant striker's goals. Big 3 points away from home.

Quality, I chuckled at his little jig after the Southampton goal

Scoring against West Ham was good too, because their dump fans were giving him stick all afternoon.

The goals at the Citeh ground last year were amazing. I was sitting on the half-way line (in the citeh fans) and had a clear view of the angle on the first goal. Fantastic finish. Not that he's done that this year mind...
