Training Camp in Spain

by East Stand Royal 500 » 07 Mar 2008 13:57

According to SC's interview on the OS the team go on a week's training camp in Spain on Sunday. I hope he's checked the weather forecast! Doesn't look too good for flying over the next few days!

Could be a great chance for the team to bond without disruptive 'characters' pissing on the party

Maybe that's the real motivation for the loan out. The spanish chicks have seen his antics on their phones and we just won't be able to focus the super fly party guy.

I wonder......... if I was sh1t at my job for a couple of months do you think my firm would send myself and my colleagues on an all expenses paid holiday?

I'll ask, and let you know.

I can feel it dodding in the air tonight, as Phil Collins once said.

Interesting to see who goes. SSC said he is taking 22 players in his radio interview: Murty is injured...

The 16 from saturday, plus

Convey?
DLC?
Halls?
Gunn?
Little?
Doobs?

Maybe Karacan = can't think of anyone else. So who will play for the res' against Spurs - the youth team I guess...

Probably not. But they might offer to send you on a training course to improve your performance.

The timing of this is camp is further proof (if it were needed) that SC has "special powers". How else did he manage to plan weeks ago to fly off just hours in advance of the south's stormiest weather for years? Look for the wind and rain to abate sometime around Wednesday tea-time as the boys prepare to return home.

For the love of christ!!!

The balding guy has no hair, it's a simple as that and looking at a 7 day weather forcast. He wants a holiday, this is purely that.

Hopefully you approached your post with the levity I approached mine. Just trying to lighten a dreary Monday.

Tonight's Reserve match has been cancelled, by the way.

Phew!

I was worried there as some fools actually beleive that the Balding Guy is GOD by the way they act and behave towards him.

To me, he is a man that has spent too long playing with lower club teams and Football Manager 2007.

Not far wrong - Golbourne & Karacan (good) for the injured Gunn and Halls (who is obviously on his way out).....Pleased that Glenn is going as he must be getting closer now - Murty not going, so only people who can play a part have gone....
