Row Z RoyalJerry St Clair Can anyone confirm that Arsenal won't be full of day-tripping tossers, who sit down and do nothing all game?
Isn't it an evening game now?
Saturday lunchtime.

Can't confirm that. I think there's every chance.

Jerry St Clair Exactly, which is why I'm going to Arsenal, Wigan and Derby, but have no intention of going to Liverpool or Arsenal.

Chuckle Brother In truth though, the game is only a part of the reason for going to Newcastle for the weekend.

Huntley & PalmerCompo's HatHuntley & Palmer Arsenal can't reduce the allocation at Ashburton, it has a fixed size away end. In the case of teams like Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool and a lot of others they have temporary segregation which allows them to increase or decrease the away tickets accordingly. So RFC don't want to take a punt on how many we would sell and up forking out themselves for unsold tickets, more Liverpool fans get a ticket option in the Anfield Rd end which would have been part of our area.
I'm sure i've seen them move the rails at Ashburton. IIRC Blackburn's (and a couple of others) allocation was half the size compared to some of the other teams.
Not that I am aware of as the away section has dedicated doors with no segregation of the concourse available as I recall. You can't just shut a door half way down like we can, though I will take a correction if needs be.
Away fans are housed in the lower tier of the South East corner of the stadium. The normal allocation for away fans will be 3,000 tickets, but this can be increased for cup games. Although fans will have big padded seats and plenty of leg room, the lower tier of the stadium is quite shallow (unlike the upper tiers which have plenty of height between rows), meaning that the view might not be as good as you would expect from a new stadium.
