And now I make my case again, hopefully not in a "told you so" manner.
Basically I reiterate that it's "business as usual". We played fairly well against Everton and Villa - just as we might have done last season - and the end result was again just as we might have expected. Same against Boro and CIty: played well, this time with good results.
And today against Liverpool, watching it on the the 'net it was clear to me that we put a mighty good show and were arguably unlucky with a defeat (especially with two possibly solid penalty appeals), but either way it doesn't matter we put in a grand performance. One that could, again, have happened last season.
The Bolton game was the wake-up call. Since then we bucked up our ideas and it's been basically "business as usual". i.e. we play well, win some, lose some.
Some people on here were expecting a relegation side to not only stop being a relegation side but bizarrely were expecting us suddenly to become a Title winning side by demading wins against the likes of Everton and Villa

With this approach a handful of us didn't get all depressed when we just lost to Everton and Villa, and didn't start believing we're the best team in the league after Boro and City. And I'm certainly not fussed by losing against Liverpool away in a good hard fought match.
Because it's business as usual.
We'll be ok.
