Strangely enough, I shed a tear at the last home game of the season against Peterborough 01/02. We were one down due to a Whitehead blunder and I knew that with QPR drawing 0-0 with Brentford earlier that day, a loss would mean we would need to win at Griffin Park, due to their superior GD, and if I remember correctly they had only lost there once all season so I didn't really fancy our chances, especially after a previous 8 game drawing streak! But once we scored 2 in 6 mins early in the second half I was overcome with emotion and couldn't hold back the tears lol

. Thank god for those 2 goals or we would have been consigned to the playoffs for another season which would have been disasterous considering how many points we were ahead of Brentford with 10 games remaining.

It was ages before I could watch that game on telly. Rougiers own goal is more ridiculous everytime you see it.

Darren Byfield has never scored a goal like that ever again.

I use to always nearly cry at the beginning of every home game when we use to sing 'Super Reading FC' at the top of our voices. It didn't matter if it was in div 2 or whatever game it was, just loved the whole atmosphere when the east stand was in full voice. I've sat in the South stand and don't want to step foot in there again as so quiet and boring

Wembley '95 I was in the bogs at half time telling all the doubters that this was it, home and dry.
I really thought we'd be able to snatch an equalizer when Jimmy Quinn made it 4-3.....then came the tears.

At Cardiff against Wallsall, I couldn't even begin to entertain the prospect of defeat. I thought how can a team with such pathetic support stop the mighty Royals. It's amazing how much noise such a small section of the crowd can make at the end of a game...

Leicester 2006. Tried speaking to friends after the game by phone, and just couldn't get the words out

Only after the Leicester game. Other occasions were just lumps in throat moments - e.g. after Curo scored against Brentford, Quinny scoring that belter against Wolves to keep us up in 96 and when Harper rounded Reina to make it 3-1 against Liverpool. And actually, when we scored the first goal against City two weeks ago. The buzz was f*cking amazing.

A couple of teardrops of joy as we beat Derby 5-0 to clinch the championship at home.

Other than that, a tear drop or two during the minutes silence for Charlie who stat opposite the aisle from me and others who were killed in the Ufton Nerfett rail crash travelling home from the match.

I've not proper cried at football and probably won't..... even if we get relegated I will be looking forward to next season.
