Royalee Same team Coppell should've played today...

Hahnemann
Shorey
Bikey
Pearce
Rosenior
Convey
Cisse
Matejovsky
Little
Doyle
Kitson

So how come Doyle still justifies his place but Harper doesn't? Harper has contributed far more in the last few months that Doyle has.

Agreed, and everytime I've seen Cisse in the centre of midfield he's been absolutely appalling.

Think its time to shake things up a bit, as some players on sat clearly think they will be premiership players next season, whether its with reading or someone else. Lets face it, we've got nothing to lose against Arsenal, and only Hahnemann can say he deserves to keep his place!

Hahnemann

Rosenior (need to offset Little's lack of pace down the right)
Ingimarsson
Duberry (controversial, but doesn't often let us down defensively)
De La Cruz (solid at the back, composed, and might make some forward runs, unlike shorey)

Little (put in the best corner I can remember for months on saturday!)
Bikey (need some bite in midfield)
Matejovsky (Might find some space at Arsenal to spread some passes)
Convey (hopefully some end product, unlike Hunt since he got his fat contract!)

Kitson
Lita (Bring him back, scored more than any of our other strikers recently!)

Subs:
Fed
Cisse
Long
Doyle
Hunt

The team will remain unchanged. Pretty much FACT.

Tbh watching a funeral would be more entertaining, at least there, there is something in the box.

I would go with something like this:

USA
ROSENIOR IVAR DUBERRY SHOREY
DOYLE MAREK BIKEY CONVEY
KITSON LONG

SUBS: CISSE, LITTLE, HUNT, FED, HARPER

This is based on Little not being able to complete 90 mins, plus i would rather keep him fresh for wigan, spurs and derby. Sonko could come in for Doobs if he has a shocker but i think Doobs would do OK.

It will never happen but cant see why that cant work or be any worst than current teams.

Royalee Either way, aside from the Arsenal game Coppell still needs to try that central pairing - hell, he's pissed enough points down the drain with Harper in the side so he hasn't got much to lose.

So, there's no other reasons at all why we have lost so many games this season, then? No other person within the team is responsible for shipping so much as a goal, never mind losing the team points?
It's a pity for your point of view that Harper was on the pitch against Wigan and Boro' then, isn't it? Four points gained from turning draws into wins in those two games because of goals scored by...?

The team is collectively underperforming to the point of abjectness. He may well need a spell off the park, but singling him out for every point dropped this season is just absurd.

Rather radically different, but something has to change!

Hahnemann
Murty Bikey Ingi Shorey
Marek Cisse Hunt
Kitson Convey
Long

Subs: Harper, Rosenior/ DLC, Doyle, Little, Fed

You can call the above a 4,3,2,1 or a 5, 4, 1 depending on whether you consider Cisse an extra defender or midfielder. It is Arsenal, the area in front of the back 4 must be protected. Kitson and Convey can provide an extra line of defensive cover.

Doyle should not be allowed to start a game again this season (unless he starts scoring off the bench), but we have no option but to have him as sub - there are no other forwards.

Hahnemann

DLC (Murty not fit enough, but Rosenior's had two rotten games on the spin)
Ivar
Sonko (to enable Bikey to sit in front of back four)
Shorey (won't be dropped, but should be)

Bikey

Hunt (see Shorey)
Marek
Harper (see Shorey)
Convey

Kitson

Subs: A Fed
Little (not ready for 90 mins yet)
Doyle
Long (Lita won't be recalled)
Cisse

I can't throw vitriol at Oster like others can, but he does need dropping...

Rosenior may be unlucky not to make the bench, but you can't go to Arsenal with one forward on the bench, even if those warming it couldn't hit a barn door at the moment...

Duberry seems to be behind Sonko at the moment, so, like Rosenior, not enough room on the bench.

Still, if we stay up, we can put seven on the bench next season...

Given that this game is a guaranteed 3 points for Arsenal, would it not be better to rest some players so they are fresh for the last 3 games?

Just not turn up at all, why waste money on petrol for the team coach. Award arsenal a 3-0 win.

Actually, yes it would, hence my post about playing the reserves in this game. Absolutely nothing to lose.
