What is it with Rosenior??

by royal.badger » 14 Apr 2008 13:32

Every time I open a newspaper, look on the internet, listen to the radio, watch sky sports news, look at teletext he has got something else to tell me about this club !!!
I wish he would shut it for five minutes and get on with learning how to cross a ball and not panic and shit himself every time he gets across the half way line.

Two. at right back.

Countless as a right sided midfield player.

I heard him on Radio Berks on saturday and he sounds REALLY simple.

He wasn't poor at Newcastle, he just happened to cost us a goal by falling over.

He was, not including that slip which wasn't his fault. He was rubbish that day along with our whole back 4.

I'd sooner play Rosenior, I think he's got a good future and has done well on the whole since he's been back. His last 2 showings have been dismal giving Coppell the only slight opportunity he needs to bring Murty back, which he will for Arsenal.

Hunt and Doyle will both start.

Why don't we start a thread for every single player and the management and be really negative

Oster, Doyle, Hunt, Shorey, Rosenior, Harper, Coppell...who's next I wounder...

Ingimarsson, who despite myself being a big fan of his, he has been absolutely DUMP in the last 3 or 4 games.

I just wish he didnt feel the need to tell me things in the press all the time.
He is up and coming and could be a decent player for us - but he has only been here 5 minutes and constantly has things to say.

I agree with that.

Rosenior is a good player, yes, he has struggled the last two games, but as countless others have said, so has the whole team.

I fear it's the excuse SC has been looking for to bring Murty back.

I always look at what the papers have to say, as I admit I watch the game with rose tinted bins on, and they have (in general) said what a good player he is. They have no alligiance to Reading, so their opinion is worth something.

I think both Hunt and Doyle will start, but the worrying thing is, who do we have that's quality to replace them ??? but that's down to our lack of activity in recruiting a SQUAD good enough to compete at this level.. but I won't go down that road.

Maybe the club should call a complete press blackout then...that way if no one from the club talks to any form of media then it will stop the silly liittle digs here and there from fans...

It seems if the players try and put a positive spin on things then they get slated and similarly if they say we were dump, they get criticised equally as much...just can't win with some people who claim to be supporters...

Hear hear.

I took a very swift dislike to Rosenior when, in his first local media interview after signing for us, he was talking about playing for England. Not good enough, son.

How dare he have ambition.
If I was a Premiership footballer, being an Englishman I would be looking to play for my country too.

Is that what he actually was quoted as saying??

It's a pretty pathetic reason to dislike a player though. Would you have rather him say something like 'there's no way I've got the ability to push on and maybe play for England one day. That's why I've gone from one rubbish team to another because I have no ambition'
