Back to 4-4-2 for the second half. No point in such a defensive formation now.

So, Arsenal had a mere 20 minute hangover after their season was declared "over".

It really is just men against boys for the second half of the half.

You can bring on whoever you like but we aren't getting enough of the ball for anyone to do anything with it.

Its difficult to watch...its becoming target practise for Arsenal. I just hope the team can keep the score respectable because a really heavy loss is going to knock morale further

Rosenior - looks to have put his boots on the wrong way round as a result of the shift to LB.

Cisse - awful passer, no composure - NOT a midfielder.

Murty - looks even slower than before.

Kebe - commiited, but just a rabbit in the headlights.

Convey - good energy, but we're just not able to use him.

Sonko - meh.

Bikey - working hard.

Cisse was bought as a midfielder or so I thought and is also his preferred position. However, his best games for us so far have been at centre back.

At the momment he seems lost in the middle and is lacking that presence he had at CB.

"The new Viera" my arse!!

Of course he looks lost, we're not playing football, we're just running around trying to keep up with the Arsenal men, in a way he hasn't got a position to play in let alone players around him who he knows where they'll be. Thats why this doesn't work!

We look so amateur. I'm surprised at the support for Coppell's team selection, tbh. A right-footer on the left, because Coppell has fallen out with another player, Hunt dropped completely, Kebe starting after barely making an appearance for a month, our creative midfielder on the bench, and Sonko back in and as much a liability as he has been all season.

Horrible.

Agree with one thing though, and it is a constant theme the last few weeks - Bikey looks like a top player. And wouldn't it be good to have Leroy to go to on the bench, you know, with us needing goals.

Nevermind complaining about Liverpool resting players for Fulham - how about United and Chelsea complain about the non-team we have put out today?

Agree that it's not helping matters, but even when he has got the ball, he's not in control of it.

I just hoped he would be the steel in the middle that would hold us together.

Coppells notes from the first half......

Half a league half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred:
'Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns' he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

'Forward, the Light Brigade!'
Was there a man dismay'd ?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Some one had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & die,
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd & thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.

Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack & Russian
Reel'd from the sabre-stroke,
Shatter'd & sunder'd.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse & hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of Hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.

When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wonder'd.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!

Yes Bikey is about the only one who can compete with Arsenal....I dont think Lita would make any difference because we simply are not creating anything.
Like you I was shocked at the starting line-up...absolutely lost by the selections.

I don't understand why we are playing a holding midfielder, as well as a 5 man defence, its basically sticking 6 in defence, which is ludricrous, lets bring on fae/Matejosvky for Cisse, and get some oxf*rd creativity.

Much better performance than last week against Fulham.
Does not matter the result. We all know the eventual outcome. Let's enjoy watching our positive football.

Kebe is playing the level of football you would expect to find in the lower tiers of the French league.

Oh.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's looked pretty useless whenever he's played in midfield for us, but this game isn't one to judge any players general awareness or position on as we're not taking it as a serious game.
