Ch£lsea vs United

by Coppelled Streets » 26 Apr 2008 12:28

C'mon you reds, c'mon you reds,
don't lose your bottle don't lose you're heads,
there's 90 minutes still left to go,
it's Man Utd here we go.

Want Chelsea to win this just so we have a chance of the title going down to the last day. Last day of 94/95 was awesome.

1-1 but Rooney's hip injury is worsened by the goal.

United look poor today and look like they want a draw.

Shock horror, Man Utd blame ref for defeat

Carlos Queiroz It must be necessary for a player to bring a gun and shoot one of our men in the box for us to get a penalty

errrm, what about the penalty you got just 3 days ago Carlos?

In the first half Chelsea looked like potential champions whereas Man Utd looked like a middle-to-lower side.
As I have said before Man Utd can bully teams at Old Trafford but can be quite wimpish away from home as we have seen this past week with the draws at Blackburn and Barcelona and now with this defeat.
Fergie's claims about this being some sort of wonder team now look pathetic as at best they will scrape home as champions ahead of a Chelsea side that has played this season with 5 of it's key players missing getting on for half a season and with a manager who supposedly hasn't got a clue.
Add in a number of players clearing off to Africa and you start to wonder what might have been.
To summarise, this Man Utd team is not as wonderful as Fergie and all those TV pundits would have us believe-they hype exceeds the reality.

LOL @ Utd players having a fight with the groundsman during the warmdown

oh, and Rio Ferdinand has also admitted to kicking a female steward after the game

Rio The Brain
'I kicked the wall in frustration at the result as I have done in the past. 'Unfortunately a lady was stood by and I accidentally brushed her with my foot.

'I went back to make sure she was okay and apologised profusely. I have arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to her.'

United magnanimous in defeat as usual.

Fergie bleating like a child, Rio kicking female stewards, players fighting ground staff.

Pitiful. As was Chelsea's infantile bickering when they were losing. It's a really tough call which club is the most repulsive. Just hope one finishes with nothing rather than them getting a trophy each - guarantees at least one LOL.

Why is it keep being quoted as "female steward", do they always say "male steward" it just seems bizzarre, are we suppose to be even more outraged because it is a poor defensiveless angelic woman?

Ah the old Man U 'I think one of our players needs to be shot to get a penalty' line. How many clear penalties were there? Didn't see any on MOTD. Queiroz really is a cnut, something has to be done about this consistent slandering of referees. United used to be the worst, then Chelsea with Mourinho, now United again, although most teams do it. Maybe the refs' union should go on strike for a week, we'd have no games then cnuters like Queiroz might have to learn to respect the officials.

That said still United > Chelsea generally which probably says how bad Chelsea are.

You'd have thought they would be able to afford a Flymo or something better wouldn't you. I say sack sidwell or some other bench warmer and upgrade to a new lawn mower.

That's a bloody good point actually. They always say stuff like that don't they, e.g. "A female bus driver was attacked today...". It's funny that people (mostly women) campaign for equal rights and all that business, yet no one seems to really notice media-driven propaganda.
