Flicked on the Man City Fulham game and the commentator said Joe Hart has already made 3 blinding saves for Fulham!

Royal Lady It's so unfair when at this stage of the season some clubs are given an advantage because the side they are playing are not their full strength team. Having said that, we couldn't beat Liverpool reserves at the moment. So it's our own fault ultimately.

its not unfair at all, its up to them to protect their own interests not do favours for other teams

So they're not doing Birmingham a favour then?

It's not a favour, Birmingham are just benefiting from advantageous circumstances. If we go down, it will have nothng to do with Liverpools team selection in 1 game.

Of course it's unfair. It renders the league format pointless.

I think it's entirely wrong. We play a full Liverpool team and they get to play what is clearly a second string team. It's just wrong on every level I can think of.

I agree we shouldn't be in this position in the first place, but if Birmingham end up getting 3 points today due to the likes of Torres not playing for Liverpool, I still deem it to be unfair on other relegation battlers, whether it's right or wrong is beside the point, imho I think it's unfair.

its not 'wrong' its annoying for us but its not wrong at all, why should they play their strongest team and risk injuries when they have the CL to think of and a secure league position.

Because this is the Premier League and they should be playing a full strength team whilst competing in the PL - the Champions League is of no import to the rest of the teams in the PL outside those who are still in it.
