We are where we deserve to be.

Platypuss
Volvicanus I think it's entirely wrong. We play a full Liverpool team .

Well, not for the full 90, anyway.

or even the starting XI ... that Hobbs lad played, didn't he?

Us whining about the liverpool team is pathetic imho, if we were in their situation, we'd do the same and tell whoever else to shut it.

Royal Lady It's so unfair when at this stage of the season some clubs are given an advantage because the side they are playing are not their full strength team. Having said that, we couldn't beat Liverpool reserves at the moment. So it's our own fault ultimately.

its not unfair at all, its up to them to protect their own interests not do favours for other teams

Of course it's unfair. It renders the league format pointless.

Nonsense. Liverpool have done nothing wrong. They have every right to choose which ever players they like from their squad. Just as we do. Sadly the choice we have is going to find us playing Championship football next season.

It's not a favour, Birmingham are just benefiting from advantageous circumstances. If we go down, it will have nothng to do with Liverpools team selection in 1 game.

whats the difference between us disrespecting the FA cup and Liverpool disrespecting the premier league?
I will give you the answer, they are a big team and we are a small team

Perhaps the rules should be changed then - and that includes the likes of us playing our reserves in FA Cup games.

Fitzroy
Ups and Downs Doyle misses from 4 yards with a volley. Only 3 other players in the Prem have missed the target more than him this season and those players have all scored a bundle.

Get a grip!!!

It was a cross that got deflected and looped up miles, with defenders closing he took it early and skyed it, very difficult chance in my book.

Thats fair enough. I'm just a bit sore that he's still getting in the team when he's been even less effective on the wing than he has been up front for us. Which is saying something.

what?! you think the rules should be changed making it mandatory to play your strongest 11 in every match? That is absolutely ridiculous, if you think your reserves have the ability to win the game then thats a good reflection on your squad and its your choice to do it. Are you suggesting no reserves are allowed to play, name your strongest squad of 16 and thats it? What a joke.

Stop looking for scapegoats for our terrible league position, its our fault nobody elses.

Agreed, doesn't add much out wide and Lita after a bright start faded as well. It all stems from midfield, strikers can't score without service.

As is for the start then if we need points, Brum game, then Little must be tried.

And how exactly would you change the rules? Reducing squad size? That wouldn't do us any favours either. The bottom line is we're just not very good. Worrying about what's happening in other games when we can't do the business on the pitch is laughable.

Just because they have the "right" to do it doesn't make it right.

I have the "right" to walk away from someone who collapsed in the street without helping - it wouldn't be the right thing to do though.

Luckily, I had the right to laugh my arse off in the 94th minute on Tuesday night - which was exactly the right thing to do!

We obviously need a special panel that sits each week to decide what they deem to be a team's strongest side.
