And we did the whole league a favour by fielding a weakened team throughout. FFS.

Exactly. End of.

And in my opinion a team should only be allowed to do this, if at all, if both teams playing will not benefit from the outcome. For example, if Liverpool who are assured of a place in Europe next season, but cannot win the PL put out a weakened side against West Ham, who can not get into Europe and can not be relegated, then that's not as bad as giving the likes of Birmingham a helping hand.

And now, it's immaterial as we'll be down before Derby game judging by the other results at the moment.

Interesting facts,

The comedy defending continues after 60 seconds of restart.

Never been a 0-0 in all our last 33 games vs Wigan.

Platypuss We have absoltely zero moral superiority considering our squad selection fo the FA Cup.

But that does not affect other teams

Bolton 1-0 up.

Wrong.

The only team to lose out if we play a weakened team in a cup game is us.

Not true. By playing a stronger side Reading might have won games otherwise lost. So it does change the complexion of the subsequent draws.

Yes, but how does that mean that any other team loses out?

That just doesn't follow at all. Fielding a weakened squad in the FA Cup could only ever be to our detriment, there is no way that it could ever adversely affect any other team in the competition. Fielding a weakened team in a league game clearly can have a detrimental affect on other clubs.

Birmingham in control as Liverpool have been very poor - says Charlie Nicholas.

True, but our 'disrespect' does not cost a team £30 million

Im going to dig hole and bury myself in it I think. As much as we have been token shite recently, who'd have thought Bolton would win 3 games on the trot and Brum beat Liverpool. Sometimes I wish I was as passionate about London Irish.

I think I've just realised the problem here. I concede defeat in this battle of wits.

We could have tried to beat Fulham? Just once would have been great.

Or Bolton ...
