Thaumagurist* I see from the official site ( http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 14,00.html ) that our Marek's goal against Liverpool was voted the best goal of the month by some poxy children's football magazine. Since I've seen it on Match of the Day that evening, I couldn't agree more that it was a special goal. No doubt there are some of you on here who would prefer to see Ronaldo voted since you think our players are shit. Am I wrong?

I think he was unfortunate in being up against a 'trick' goal that people remember.
Marek's was a special and stunning strike that deserved to win to GotM, but there are a lot of strikes similar to that, as opposed to what was perhaps a moment of brilliant inventiveness (or just luck).

I get that feeling as well going by results post Liverpool. Marek's goal was a cracker, Having said that, i hope we see somthing to rival his goal on Saturday, maybe from a ceratin mr.Lita? which Copell has said its only time till he finds the net.

Agreed. Footage of Lita scoring tends to hit the net pretty quickly.

As clever as Ronaldo's move was, it looked a lot like poking it in front of goal to see what would happen. I bet he was as surprised as anyone when it bobbled in.

Nope. Just that there's always been more Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea fans in and around Reading, than Reading fans. At least, more people seem to wear the shirts of the respective clubs. And the same is true across the nation (though obviously with Reading being replaced by other teams), so when this happens, there is plenty more fans to vote for their team's goal, rather than an absolute thunderbolt from a little known player for a team narrowly avoiding the bottom 3.
