Tomorrow may well be the last time Shorey plays at the Mad Stad in a Reading shirt, I hope that I'm wrong but it is more than a possibility.

I would hope that he is given a good send off from the home support who would chose rather to thank him for the great performances of the past rather than the poor ones of this season.

Shorey showed us how the left back position should be played over the years and is probably the best left back this club has had and will have for a long time.

Nicky...wherever you end up...I salute you!

TBH on this seasons form, why is anyone bothered if he stays or goes.

Been a great player in his day and first England cap for a Reading player in modern times but things change and players move on.

I rememeber only last year when everyone was going on about missing Sidwell this year

Agree totally, would have been gutted to see him go before the start of this season, but by the end of August it was quite obvious that his thoughts were elsewhere.

A shadow of the player that he was last season, and his attitude doesn't compare with Sidwell's in his last season with us.

Wouldn't mind a straight swap for McCartney (plus West Ham can have a poster or two from this board)

Well I'll miss him. The first time I saw him play I thought he was the best player on the pitch and I've probably not seen him at his best.

Since we turned down offers for nicky from west ham he seems to have lost motivation
From what we have all seen from him this season it seems surprising he managed to get in the england squad
If he leaves we will miss him for sure. But i think we will be able to replace him
