Looking at the 2 remaining games

i cant quite decide whether we are going to get more points out of the Spurs or Derby game.

Derby are already relegated but its their last premiership game at home, they are going to be up for it. Spurs have nothing to play for, but they are still a decent side, individually far far far better than us. On paper we should lose against Spurs and beat Derby but im not so sure.............

Where's the option for none out of either?

1 each. That's pretty clear cut then.

Knowing Reading, we'll do the hard thing but screw up on the easy thing. So win tomorrow, but lose at Derby when all we'll need is a point.

I can see where you come from when you say Spurs beat us.
I can also see where 17bus is coming from with us becoming 15th.

I know this is optimistic and everything, but if we have the atmosphere at our final home game extremely positive and backing, then the players will react.
2-1 win to RFC. :)
Lita to score both as he's the only one who looks likely to score.

Bolton have already got 33 points, so if they beat Sunderland, they'll have 36.

I agree with all of the original post with Portsmouth V Fulham being they one that would make me the most nervous.

rg6royal A draw today and a win at Derby would be good enough for me think. :D

The trouble with that is that it could well leave us in the bottom three going into the last game. The pressure that that would exert on the club could be just a little too much

Provided Chelsea win at Newcastle, i'd be happy to go into the last game in the bottom three but only two points behind Bolton.

Got a really positive feeling about today. Reading 2-0 Spurs.

The Royals are staying up!

Yeah, but it's going to be typical Reading* to lose this one isnt it? Look at it : Derby - one victory all season, can't win if there lifes depended on it, but nothing to play for. Then along come Reading : look at all our big occasions - Play off finals, or last game at Elm Park, or Newport Country for 14 straight wins, even trying to beat Watford last season.

We screw it up.

* I know it's a different team to the various teams mentioned above, but I've been supporting this team too long to know. I hope I am wrong and that we come back next year, but I can't quite see it... I just hope some of the results go our way, because I don't think it will be down to our great talent that keeps us up, but other teams being even worse. And whats coming up is BEATABLE.

Come on you Royals! From a pessimisstic, but loyal git.

what about the first game at the Mad stad? We won that.
What about the season we avoided relegation by beating Wolves, and stopped the getting auto promotion as well?

What about beating Sheffield Utd twice in the Championship season? Beating Wigan in the play offs?

Anyone can come up with a list of 3 or 4 games to use as evidence for their point. It means nothing.
