if you remember who Madejski's first pick was when Pards left?

He's currently the manager of Stevenage Borough.

So some of these picks aren't totally ludicrous as some of you make them sound.

Anyone who spunks £11.5m on Steve Marlet isn't.

Would you rather have Billy Davies than Steve Coppell. The same Billy Davies who believes that his team played well even after losing 6-0 twice.

Why are you asking a question and then answering it?

Capello should be free for the start of the season after next I'd have thought.

Will he get early release, or will it be just an open prison ?

If/When Coppell Walks

by Coppelled Streets » 04 May 2008 22:50

Who the hell comes in and takes us forward?

It frightens the life out of me!

Dillon? No. Not after his little spell in charge after Pardew left.
Wally? No No No.
Dolan? ***Possible***

Typically we wont attract a big name, so who is currently out of work and acceptable in your eyes to come in IF we find ourselves looking for a manager shortly?

There was talk Shearer would drop to the Championship to manage. It's not as unthinkable as many may give it time for.

Not necessarily my vote but he is out of work as of last week I think it was, you ready...?

Peter Taylor.

Frightening isn't it?!

:x

I can already envisage a cold November Tuesday night 0-0 draw with Burnley in front of a crowd just under 11k.

Sven or Allardyce in the Championship? I know Reading fans can be delusional, but....

This is all a bit of a nonsense, lets wait till after Derby and see what league we are in and also what's on Coppell's mind. I've heard nothing from him stating he'd walk at the end of this season, as he signed a 2 year deal last year, and absolutely nothing from the club that he is under any sort of pressure.

Maybe Sir Alex needs a new challenge.

If Sanchez comes in I wont watch another game until he's gone.

IF he came in and got some good results and we did well you'd soon change your tune. Won't happen anyway so for the record I'll have Capello.

I don't rate the guy and wouldn't want him near our club.

In the same way Hull wouldn't have wanted the ex failed Derby manager Phil Brown near their club, nor would Stoke want Tony Puils back at their club, nor would Palace want that 'tosser' Warnock near their club, nor would Bolton want Gary Megson near their club etc etc etc etc
