Derby Scum

by willz_royal » 11 May 2008 21:51

Never in my (admittedly short) lifetime have i witnessed such a rude, obnoxious, basically horrible bunch of fans. They should be ashamed, but chances are they arn't. The amount of abuse flung at us was incredible when fulham scored. If they had put that much effort into supporting, maybe they would fair better on the park.

Gangs of louts were hurling abuse and surrounding our fans outside, harassing young girls as the stewards just watched on. One reading kid had to stick up for himself against 15 derby plebs, after they picked a fight.

Im trying to not sound UBER GHEY, but it was pretty rediculous all game, especially when they went on the attack by jumping on the pitch. that shirely has to be looked at? invaded the playing area and abusing opposition fans/players?

Do i smell jealousy?

Even little kids were giving it there all in the services. But cos i was (just) taller, i had em...

Pathetic Derby, really big of you.

Not just the fans but Stewards and Coppers at the ground were a disgrace, hitting Reading fans....

The PA guy should have warned them that if they ran on the pitch then the club might be docked points.

If the shoe was on the other foot, I doubt the RFC faithful would have done any different.

I doubt our fans would throw away a good prawn sandwich to be honest.

Willz get over it, that's football mate. It can't be happy family days out all the time.

I know its football, im just pissed not much was done about it. Was harrowing to see this one guy get abuse from about 15 louts, when stewards were just chatting about their day down the mines last week or whatever.

Dirty. Northern. Scum.

shame about the match

They are just an AWFUL team. The worst team i've seen in 14 years of going to football.

Sounds patronising, but what else do you expect when travelling to a town full of incest pikeys, which has a village within it that gave chavs their name?

As we were walking round the stadium, before the game, a Derby fan came up to my two kids and gave them his scarf. He wished them luck and said it was a momento of the day for them, whatever the result.

Both my kids dropped it on the floor.......

You have no idea how much I needed a cuddle mate!!

Despite the fact I was confident we were destined for Championship football for some while it still got to me right at the end. Trust Sky Sports to catch it...I've got a long couple of weeks ahead of me!

2 Derby 'boys' came up to me after the game to say how gutted they would be to go down after winning 4-0, and good luck for next season. The local police were also very chatty and tolerant of a lot of drunk fans shouting foul mouthed crap at half time. Was i at the same game?

Agreed. The police, stewards and locals were all top notch,

Good day out (apart from the result, of course).

Get over it. They have won one game all season and yet still sold their ground out week after week. If the boot was on the other foot you would have enjoyed a bit of schadenfreude at their expense.

I copped a bit of stick as I left...

Derby: "oxf*rd off Reading, poxy little club"
Me: "You are the worst team ever"

And its all gone quiet over there.
