Glory Boy
jumpers for goalposts The bitterness towards Pompey is frankly pathetic. We'd be doing exactly the same thing in their position. In fact our players stopped trying about 4 weeks ago, and we DID have something to play for! Our players only rediscovered their hunger and desire today. Let's not forget that!

Couldn't agree more. Why not hate Blackburn as well for being so pathetic. Fulham fans could equally have had a go a Derby for not caring . Its just pointless and childish. The pivotal game of the campaign was Fulham at home and we bottled it.

Spot on. Fulham beat us twice & took 4 pts from Brum. Stop kidding yourselves. We were only better than Fulham whilst Sanchez was there, Post Hodgson - they're different class & deserve to stay up. Embrace the truth FFS!!!

we did the same thing in 2003 away to Stoke. Barely tried and Coppell's Brighton went down.

come to think of it, Coppell doesn't have a good last day record as far as we are concerned

2002: we pip his Brentford team to promotion
2003: we lose and relegate his Brighton team
2004: we lose at Watford and miss the play-offs
2005: we lose at Wigan and miss the play-offs
2006: ..err.. we miss getting 99 goals!
2007: we draw and miss out on europe
2008: we win, but go down.

fozziebear Won't be watching the Fa Cup next week.Don't really want Cardiff to win,I reckon it will be the worst Fa cup to watch for years.
Roll on next season.uurrzz

Suprised you think that, because personally I think it will be one of the best FA cup finals. What would you rather have, Manchester United vs Chelsea?

Dreadful defending for the goal.

in 2003, when we played Stoke after already sealing a playoff place, Brighton desperately needed Stoke to lose. I remember getting stick off their fans after we lost 1-0 to them, and to be honest, we didn't exactly care..

Difference being they lost at relegated Grimsby so it didn't matter what happened at Stoke.

Down by 3 poxy goals in the end, so which three were the culprits?

Spurs encroaching pen! (Defoe)
Gotta be one of Pompeys 7 - dodgy pen for a start!
Campbells offside goal at Mad!

I've decided it's all Portsmouth fault - the lack lustre B***turds! :x

Come on Bluebirds!

You lot are pathetic, blaming anyone else but our team that was not good enough.

Shame on anyone English supporting a welsh club (some of the fans will be spitting on booby moores statue at wembley like in the semi) They will spend half the final singing anti English songs and will bo our national anthem or at the very best turn their backs on the pitch. But of course they will want to win the ENGLISH cup final. The welsh FA have cheated by overturning their players suspensions.

Shame on anyone ENGLISH supporting that load of thugs.

Ideal
AbovetheI I've seen some fickle replies to some fickle threads on this team forum, but this really is something else. Well done to all.

You can say whatever you like, but the fact remains that they pummeled us 7-4 in a match where they put in 100% effort, yet against Fulham they barely ventured across the halfway line.
If they could be bothered they would have easily pummeled Fulham like they did us, so in my view that gave Fulham an unfair advantage.
'Arry probably picked up a brown envelope at Harrods before kickoff.

But why should they put in any effort? Harry fielded a strong team whos season was effectively finished bar the FA cup final. I just don't see why people need to become Neil Warnock all of a sudden, who incedently, was LOL'd at tenfold on here when he made similar comments last season.

If Pompey had have beaten Fulham, I'd be supporting them throughly, as I never wanted the Welsh to win our cup.

Sundays results totally changed my mind though, plus let's not forget that things have been unfair for Dave Jones, so they'll have my full support over that corrupt 'Arry...

They'll be bluebirds over
Pompey and Dover...

Anyone supporting Cardiff on Saturday is clearly a pLOLastic. Those bastards robbed us of a Wembley place in 1927. After that cruel blow, how any one can favour them over Pompey beggars belief.
