PEARCEYRoyal Lady No it's not the Travis song. It's that one that goes "Don't go, don't go away, please don't go" with a few "stays" in there somewhere I think, I think it's a 70's song.

Ian RoyalRoyal LadyEven if he decides to leave, we'll know we tried to persuade him and we'll know that he will leave our club knowing how much he's loved and admired. Football will be all the poorer if he gives up completely. And the laughing stocks amongst fellow football fans are those who turn on their Chairman and players with such ferocity, like Birmingham and Derby have.Ian Royal Bloody hell I'm impressed this is going ahead.
Cue Finch or some other twat to call us all pathetic and whine about us being a laughing stock to all other fans.
Well I say sod it. Let the man know how much he's appreciated.
Sing a song for me RL. I'm exactly the sort of sentimental sod that would be there in an instant if I still lived in Reading.
howser There is no doubt that SSC has become a legend at the Mad Stad and after the ashes of yesterday have settled and more people have time to think about what has been achieved over the last three years, and not just major on yesterdays relegation, everyone is going to realise what just a total outstanding manager and coach he has been and it is up to the fans to show what he means to everybody, Reading without Steve Coppell just doesnt sound right, we have had a glitch and yes mistakes have been made but the man has been a genius at Reading. Maybe local Radio should use its medium to let him know how the fans feel before he decides to go to pastures new somewhere along the line there should be a job of some sorts for him at Reading for the rest of his working life. We luv ya Steve and we can come back better and more aware of the premiership pifalls.................with you at the helm !

Coppelled Streets Everytime we half planned to hook up for a pint you always said you'd have 'that' coat on. Then when we did meet you had it on!

Remind me what it looks like? Are you going to be there Jay? I want someone to talk to. To make it easy for me to recognise you, turn up with a permanent fixation on your face. One which looks like you're posing for a camera. Then i'll recognise you straight away. If all else fails, i'll check peoples arms for freckles.

Toon Toon Blue army So 7pm at the Madejski tomorrow night. Will parking be free with this game on? And where exactly will everyone be, and what do they intend on doing, just sort of standing there?
