2 world wars, 1 world cup F*cking disgraceful how people decide to throw in their negative views about him at a time like this.
A top bloke, an awesome manager, a legend to many. Unlucky in his time at Reading. Had the balls to try to change things for us.
Shocking news, my heart goes out to his family.
And my thanks to him for managing my club.

Rawlie19 Shockingly bad Reading manager, but still sad to see him go. Thanks for Murty though. Shocked to hear the news this morning. RIP, condolences to his family.

Ark Royal Genuinely devastated by that news. My deepest condolences to his family. I am the same age as Tommy and I survived a skin cancer scare 18 months ago and surgery saved my life.
I would urge everyone to have their skin checked by their doctor twice a year. Once malignant melanomas reach a certain depth they spread exponentially and that is it.
RIP Tommy.
