rhroyal This is great news. It's also good when you can spend a long time preparing for your next manager and looking into candidates instead of having to make a rushed, panic decision.
The last thing we want is a dead man walking. Preparing for a manager suddenly not being there and having some idea of where you want to go next is good. Having a manager who the club and the players know is leaving at the end of the season is a disaster waiting to happen.
Look what happened to United and Newcastle, and Spurs this season I guess, to see the effect it has when players know the manager is on his way soon.
Drew_3 but it is understood he will still quit at the end of the next campaign even if he manages to mastermind a Premier League return.
don't think he would do that, and why would he do that?
If that is the case, and he's going to go in 12 months time we should make sure he goes now.
