yay another battle with sheffield UTD!

QPR are stinking rich, and are now even richer due to ST prices(if any one renews that is)
but they will be the new most hated club in the championship for just that very reason
i dont reckon theyll go up, maybe playoffs

i believe we are a half decent side-i reckon, dependant on who stays, and who comes in we could do very well
id be happy with pushing for the playoffs though

I'd place Reading as favourites. Birmingham could go tits up if the chairman and board sell up. I think Sheffield United under Blackwell will be the ones to watch.

Derby won't go up automatically, Paul Jewell is overrated and full of excuses. They need almost an entire new side. If Leeds go up and I can see either them or Forest doing very well. QPR will also be up there. Roeder at Norwich will have bought his own players in and they should do well.

The standard of the Championship is very poor and any half decent team will walk the league.

You can count Norwich out of that. They haven't got any money and currently have half a team. Most of their fans are expecting relegation next season.

Assume you are joking.

If Jewell manages to sell his entire squad, buy a new team and even get the team to the play offs he deserves a medal. Derby have almost no chance next season IMO.

My top 6 would be Reading, Brum, Wolves, Palace , Sheff Unt and QPR - no idea what order though.

The problem is with Reading is losing becomes a habit and I think it will be a lot tougher than we think in the Championship. We've seen numerous clubs relegated from the Premiership before and really struggle the following season.

i think Palace are a great bet for next season. They finished the season strongly and they do have some great young players. Warnock will bring in a few more experienced players to help them along.

The odds ill change through the close season, and wil dependant on who is the manager and which players come and go. Any high profile players are bound to have an affect on what the bookies think....whether they actaully have an impact on our chances is another thing entirely.

Are you for real mate? Apart from the top 4 of the Premiership any number of Championship sides could beat Premiership sides. Get a grip.

14/1 are the ones to look out for....you think QPR are rich? Look closer at those in Suffolk quietly going about their business.

apart from Black Beauty I think a good dark horse for next season could be Swansea.

I don't. Having watched Swansea for much of the season I see them languishing in mid table. They need to spend a fair wedge of money to go places in the Championship, despite having an excellent manager under Roberto Martinez, who I rate very highly.
However I could be wrong, I hope I won't be, but there is always the chance.

I think wolves are going to be the ones to watch this season (along with Palace), over the last few years they have built a very strong squad and this year could well be there year. With Wayne Hennessey, Michael Kightly, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Seyi Olofinjana the spine of there team as well as money to strengthen....
